More points than a team that got automatic promotion last year(after 3 games). Incorrect, we have the same points as Norwich. Their first three games were exactly the same as us. One draw, two defeats. Although strangely, their following two games to that were a midweek game against Preston followed by a Saturday game against Leeds! (Won 2 nil v Preston, lost 3 nil to Leeds) Spooky.

Fair enough we played quite well yesterday but it doesn't detract from the fact we are the bottom of the league.jones came on the radio and was angry that we didn't put the chances away, that has been a problem for a good while now and until the players start getting their act together we will still struggle to get out of the bottom 3.people keep saying give him a chance and he will come good, I am still waiting. If things don't change by say October then it's time to get rid,

How do you see it then ? You happy? I'm happy that I'm watching a team that is setup to create numerous chances per game after watching functional, pragmatic football for far too long. I'm confident our results will turn and we'll soon start to climb the table, not that I pay any real attention to that until 10 games or so. Well my point is around the decline. I hope you are right and of course there are positives but I’ve seen would be good sides get relegated in the distant past and at the moment this decline feels like it’s not shifting soon. I like NJ and I really want him to succeed.

It’s true there is only so long that a manager can keep saying that our play is improving every week between the two penalty areas, however, we can’t stop leaking goals and our players keep missing the straightforward chances. Apart from that we are very good! If that doesn’t change you end up relegated. If it doesn’t change soon you’re not contending for promotion this season. We probably need seventy five plus goals. Does it look like these players can score them? We need wins soon Nathan!

I don't think anything will change.
Yesterday the defending from our two centre backs for their first goal and their late chance to win was rubbish passive crap, we don't defend aggressively enough.
We still don't have the balance in midfield.

We looked a lot better yesterday and we still have Powell and Etebo to come back properly
Having said that, I get why Mr Jones was so angry as our issues at the back and up front remain
It is at the end of the day a results business and right now the team are not delivering no matter how you want to dress it up
There is cause for optimism but the team need to turn that in to results for the manager's sake and ours quickly

It’s fine, we miss loads of chances and can’t defend! We had that anyway, but it's nice to see that we're creating which is normally a big problem for us.

Scholes has presided over a club which has gone from the fringes of European qualification. To the bottom of the championship . He is the one consistent high profile executive paid member of management that has changed in that time .
In the process we’ve lost 1 our best playing assets one to a direct competitor at the time 2 £100m + revenue stream 3 Run up £100m plus shareholder debt 4 lost an increasing number of paying customers 5 Found ourselves hamstrung by FFP due to unsellable players 6 Made catastrophic managerial appointments including £2’compensation to a rival not to mention the contractual Pay offs .
It’s a record of staggering waste of incredible shareholder investment and sustained failure after failure

Rock bottom after an easy start to the season.
We concede goals for fun.
And some posters think we are on the cusp of turning things around.

We are poor defensively but we've struggled to create chances for a long time and now we are creating them. We look fitter and work harder than we have done for a while and the players look like they're buying into Jones' ethos. There's a lot of twists and turns left but I just don't buy the doom and gloom.

Do the players know you dont have to stop scoring after 2 goals?
We should have scored a third to kill the game off, but that just doesnt happen anymore for Stoke

Its all a bit horrific really. 4 wins in 25 under Jones Worst form of all clubs in the league over 25 games barring those that dropped from the PL (http://www.footstats.co.uk/index.cfm?task=formguide) Lowest scorers (scorring half the number of goals or less than scored by WBA, Brentford, Sheff Wednesday) - average of 1 goal a game since the start of last season - worse than Wigan, Rotherham and Millwall No win in 9 league games, going back to April 6th. 3 wins, or are you counting the League Cup tie with Wigan ?
