We need to reduce wages and we need to get some money back from all our failiures in the transfer market over the last 2-3 years. We have at least two defenders who are preferred to Indi, and we also have two promising youngsters in Collins and Lindsay. This must really be an easy decision for the club.

It is learned that BEŞIKTAŞ has proposed 4 million Euros and has committed to pay this figure in 4 installments. Negotiations between the parties continued... As there doesn't seem to be much other interest, I'd probably settle on 4 million euros (with a sell on clause) - or 5 million if we can get it. Pity they want to pay in 4 installments but I suppose that is better than nothing. As well as the obviously toxic buys like Wimmer, Imbula and Berahino, we seem to be suffering a knock on effect (from having those those dud players on our books) that means that we get rock bottom offers for almost all our players. We just HAVE to get the toxic players off our books somehow and try to rebuild a reputation as being a club which has some decent players.

Personally, i see the Lindsay signing was a waste of 2m+. I don't see it as a comparison of BMI vs Lindsay wages on comparing costs and value - Rather, its a comparison of "Lindsay fee + wages + some of BMI wages" vs "BMI's current wages" on the cost front, because I bet they are not paying anything close to BMIs full wages. Plus we retain a liability beyond the loan on BMI. Moreover, Collins has become - for whatever reason - a £7m player in 1/2 a season. So by demoting him in the pecking order to 5th with the addition of LL, you only erode this perceived value and the potential further growth in his value too; whether that value is merited or not. What that's worth is subjective, but its not insignficant. Anyhow - sigh - it wouldn't be us if we didn't stab ourselves in the leg periodically in our amble back to health: if we really are going to trade BMI, and given the chances of getting 6m out of them is miniscule, then there surely must be a comporable player in their ranks we can take of their's that fills a gap - CDM, LB or CAM cover - and call it quits. www.futhead.com/19/players/16170/emre-tasdemir/And btw - Galatasaray spent around Eur 25m in 2018 - so they can afford him, but they also know they can play us like a fiddle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018%E2%80%9319_Galatasaray_S.K._seasonHere we go again, another player yet to kick a ball in anger for Stoke City written off already as a waste of money...some people ffs And another poster taking a point out of context because of their perconceived position. I didnt write him off. I commented on the pros and cons of buying him, given the implications on a) finances - short term and longer term value, b) Collins' development.

I wouldn't get rid of him. Just makes the Lindsay look even dafter, even though he as a player looks fine. Christ! Why do you use every opportunity to bash the club.Lindsay looks an accomplished player to me, and has potential to improve. He will be on a lot less money than Bruno who has stated that he wants to play at a higher level. All in all it's not as "Daft" as you like to pretend. As I’ve said and you’ve seemingly chosen to ignore, I have no issue with Lindsay as a player.

And after doing that we’ve missed out on a loan fee and continued paying his wages which means he can’t be replaced And? We shouldn't have signed Lindsay then..... I'm glad we did, we'd be held to ransom in the last 2 weeks now if we hadn't. Couldn't have foreseen that but Collins can't go anywhere now he's gotta be the right sided cover surely.

www.sabah.com.tr/spor/futbol/2019/07/28/son-kartal-martins-indiLast eagle Martins landed Boyd and Douglas, then the Dutch stopper Martins Indi Besiktas in Besiktas, Stoke City 's demand of 6 million euros after bargaining to 4 million euros and finished the job. Official announcement is expected today or tomorrow Still running with this in Turkey. But, even if there was anything in it, Shawcross could obviously have changed things. Suppose as it stands, he's very much in the running now to start against QPR as a left-footer, alongside Batth And if he went we'd have to bring in another CB to complete the pool of 4, which seems unlikely at this stage. Unless the opportunity to shed BMI's wages, and lose a player who was being professional but didn't really want to be here (certainly as back-up) was seen as too good to miss?

Is it too outrageous to think jones would reinforce the bench and plop Wimmer on it until El Capitan was fit again? It kinda make sense in so many ways but it won’t happen, and he’d also make sure Collins is still 3rd choice. We’re still paying his wages, he’ll be on very good money, no fucker else wants him, he’d be a back up left footed jones wants Surely he just wasn’t fit and he hadn’t completely forgotten to play football?

At €6m euros it's not a bad deal even with Ryan out. At €4m in 4 installments it looks pretty cack, especially if we do need to strengthen defensively with a UK purchase. We should hold out imo.

It’s an unnecessary risk to sell him , ( one baht injury away from Lindsay Collins and no back up ) given 50 points is target one , if we do sell him now it’s an indication we really need the money especially if we don’t replace him before deadline day .

I don't belive it until it's confirmed by the club, as Turkish press comes out with this all the time.
It's also a problem that Turkish clubs don't have money. The Turkish lira has half the value of what it used to be just over a year ago, and foreign players will demand payment in a foreign currency which is a big problem for them. Turkish clubs have billions in debt, and now TV money is frozen.

Bruno Martins Indi is emphatically of interest to Besiktas. The Turkish top club has since reported to Stoke City, the defender's current employer.
The 27-year-old Martins Indi has been playing for Stoke City since the summer of 2016, who first rented him from FC Porto and then committed it for an amount of just under eight million euros. Now a Turkish adventure beckons for the left-legged man.
Stoke City is open for the departure of Martins Indi and the negotiations are already in full swing.
It is still unclear what Besiktas wants to pay for the 34-time international of Orange. Both clubs bet on a final transfer.
