And does anyone know if the bars are going to be operating in the concourses? Went to Lincoln last night - no beer in the away end I have emailed the club but their "customer charter" or whatever says they will reply within 14 days, so I expect they'll email me a week on Tuesday to say they don't know. Any genuine info would be welcome Wrexham served lager in the away end

The way to go. Save yourself £15 plus parking and have a reasonably priced beer! It would not take clubs long to go bankrupt, the club needs to run within the FFP rules so every penny counts.£15 for a friendly does seem a little high, but the club as to pay the stewards the police and Leicester.

I see Gerry Taggart will be the co-commentator. I wonder if he’ll have good things to say about the club?

The match is also likely to be streamed on the LCFC youtube channel (as has been the case for the previous 3 friendlies), which I would recommend rather than watching on LCFC TV as that can be a bit laggy and tends to buffer a lot, where as the Youtube stream tends to be much better quality Looking forward to the game on Saturday, will be heading down myself

We have announced our squad for this game (as we also have a friendly at Rotherham at the same time), you are going to be facing our strongest XI, line up is very likely to be:
Schmeichel Pereira, Evans, Maguire, Chilwell Choudhury, Tielemans, Maddison Perez, Vardy, Albrighton

Simple, don't go. The poorer the attendance the more likely entrance fees will reduce next time.

£15 quid is steep for a friendly, but I'm sure that will have been done to death on another thread. Birmingham v Brighton is £8.... And I bet they can still buy tickets before the match. The club are a joke

Personally it would have been easier rock up at a cash turnstile around 2-30sh, and go find a seat etc. I just think it’s crap by the club considering we will be luck get 8k tops.

How does it work, any registration needed?

Does anyone know whether if you pre-book tickets you can still pick them up from the ticket office immediately before the game? Or will it just be completely closed and shuttered an hour before the game? Just to answer my own question, having just phoned them, the ticket office will still be open for pre-booked ticket collections after 2:00pm. It's just sales that stop after that time. So everyone whinging about pay on the gate is pretty much a non entity now.

God some people. The one thing the club couldn't be criticised for over the years was admission prices, but we seem to have hit a new low in moaning. In the interest of fairness, have you bought a matchday ticket recently? I hadnt until a pal of mine from eastbourne wanted tickets for the Chelsea game in our relegation season. I nearly fell over when I was told it was £46 quid. Cheapest matchday tickets are 30-35 quid. The one thing the club cant be criticised for over the years are season ticket prices. Matchday ticket prices I'm not sure you can say the same

That's a massive improvement. I haven't had a beer at the ground for many many years due to the disgusting piss they serve up, cider is not much better but just about bearable. Finally well done someone

Quite right. In reply to davejohnno above,
I was paying £40 x 2 for tickets in poor seats in the Q railing stand several years ago, when I couldn’t get to every match.
Luckily I have now got season tickets, better seats, at considerably less cost PA.
