Firstly we don't know it's the club's decision, maybe on advice. Also because is a friendly and say a 1000 possible Leicester fans doesn't prevent the possibility of potential trouble. A nice day, fans drinking all day but hey it's a friendly and I will behave better. You can still order tickets online. as usual someone looking for a angle to complain So you think this match has potential for violence Jeez I give up Every match has the potential for violence

Another one here who now won’t be going. The Mrs is due to give birth any day now so would have had to have been a last minute decision.
Derby are playing at home to Girona on Thursday, tickets are £5 for season ticket holders and kids go free. And yes they have pay on the gate.

It's certainly one for the list of Scholes special acts of complete idiocy this one.
The Stoke City book of Marketing.
Lesson one, make it as difficult as possible for your customers to access your product.
It's different I'll give him that.

Which was the pre-season friendly when they opened up one turnstile for 'pay on the night' and people weren't getting in until almost half time? It was two or three years ago.
Friendlies can't be that difficult to navigate for a football club can they?

Would have been a good time to test the efficiency of the turnstile operation and staff training ready for the new season, but who am I to give them advice in the Ivory Tower!

With it being Leicester and not someone like wolves, you could have a 1000 Leicester fans in the bootheh and I doubt there would be trouble. In different leagues now and all that. Should be a good game of footy this one.

Its a joke all round.
Should be free to ST holders or £5 max, they would make money from beer/pop/food
U18s STs free or £1
Tenner max everybody else
In the past I have been to countless pre season games home and away, but I honestly cant be bothered with this one, it will be a glorified training game
It should be a cheap day out, meet up with some Leicester fans in beer gardens in the sun and chat football bollocks, reminisce how paths have ventured since that fateful day in 2008, have a few drinks and a laugh, and some football.
Poor Stoke, really poor!
I doubt more than 6k there!

Strange decision by the club. It happens every season no matter who we play. A few thousand would get added on if it was pay on the gate.

£15 quid is steep for a friendly, but I'm sure that will have been done to death on another thread. The price is very expensive mate but to stop sales ONE HOUR before a friendly is absolute mind blowing I haven’t got a ticket yet as I’m undecided and potentially was just going to turn up and get a ticket but I’m not going to go before 2pm as it’s well out of the way of where I want to be pre match Utter bollocks I have made my mind up I'm not going, I just don't get the thought process.

Would have been a good time to test the efficiency of the turnstile operation and staff training ready for the new season, but who am I to give them advice in the Ivory Tower! Staggering isn't it really. The club do so much good in terms of ticket prices (ST) and free travel and the we have this nonsense.

Some people just have to find something to moan about. Whatever the club do, it’s just not good enough for some folk. Anyone wanting to go to this game can either, purchase a ticket online, by telephoning the ticket office directly, or by getting to the ground by 2.00pm. It’s not difficult is it? Get there for 1.45, buy your ticket and go have a beer. I’m waiting for the day to come when we have ‘ The grass is too green’ moan. Get a grip of yourselves, otherwise , it’s going to be a very long season for some. Some people don't know till the day whether they can get to the match, e.g. release from work, someone in the family needs minding, will they be well enough to go. Not everyone is online. Some people have a long way to travel and can get delayed by motorway delay or train delay. But the bottom line is that the club should put themselves out to accommodate customers, not vice versa. Maybe you should be more considerate about those people less fortunate than yourself.

£15 to watch 2 teams train!
How enticing.
You have to be really pissed up to enjoy a friendly, especially at that price!

Embarrassing Stoke for charging so much for a training match I won't be going A shame when at £5 I'm sure theyd get over 10,000 there, but lucky to get 5,000 Should be a time to let fans see the new players

Utter wank.
My Mrs is at work that day so I've got both of the kids. My little lad's only 5 and he's a bit variable in terms of how up for going he is. Sometimes he can't wait to go, other times he'd rather do anything but.
I was going to see how he felt that afternoon and head down (or not). Bollocks to that then Stoke, we'll go bowling or something instead as you obviously don't really want my £25.
