But he certainly isn't going to be chuffed being back-up No.10 - so got to imagine there is still a chance there could be an Incexit. Only question is, who of the teams who could afford him would want him? Pretty small list

Yeah - he may well be pissed off. Certainly at this level, he's used to being the main man. Can't imagine it'll be pleasant sitting on the bench a lot. But he does seem a bit boxed in. Can't really think where he could end up. Everyone in the division is skint.

We paid well over the odds for him in the first place, one trick pony with the heart of a coward it's no wonder he has had so many clubs for his age.

Be interesting to see how he (Ince) reacts when he realises a better player who cost nothing (Powell)is. like as not, going to take his place in the team .. knuckle down and fight for a place or, throw toys.....?

I hope he does have a place. If we can’t utilise a talent such as his we are the poorer for it. It’s down to both the player and the management but at the moment we very much need something or someone that will raise us above the morass of mid table Championship football.

Say the diamond doesn’t work attacking wise, which is more than a tad possible given the reliance on mcclean and smith to create assists as well as defending against some good wingers in this league‘ (and for Afobe to be mobile.)
NJ has changed systems before. Would he die flogging the diamond to its death or would he adapt?
its hypothetical, but I think he’d adapt. He wants the diamond but he’d change. And if he did, could see him playing Verlinden, Powell and Ince behind Vokes - and Etebo and Allen/Clucas as the holding two, with more conventional fullbacks.
If we don’t get Gayle, i still have a sneaking feeling this may happen.

I think the diamond will be flogged until an inch of its life and by the time we adapt we will have incurred severe life changing injuries which will require about 3 years of rehabilitation but I really really hope I’m wrong.

Thought he had his best part of a game ( that's all) when he played just off afobe against Leeds. Seem to remember we went 2 up front and they moved really well off each other.
Other than that I think hes a bone idle little shit who shows the same petulance as arnie, unfortunately none of the talent though.

I thought he was our best player for the first half of last season but pretty poor under Jones. Hopefully the increased competition for places will kick him back into gear. If it does he’s a menace at this level.
