I think with Etebo, Clucas and Allen we should be doing more than OK in the Championship. I also thought Coussins did reasonably well today, but competition from Ndiaye will just do him good. Woods has also been decent in the friendlies, but I question his pace and strength against the better teams in our division though. Powell is just class at this level and I'd say the same about Ince even though I know a lot of people disagree with me. After today I actually is starting to believe McClean could do the job for us at left wing back too, but he needs to get rid of the kind of naive mistake for their second. Afobe was better than expected and both him and Vokes looked fitter and sharper than last season. In adition we have TY for the last half an hour, who is a real predator too! All in all I think it looks quite rosy now and will be very disappointed if don't make it to the playoffs at least! Didn't realise you could get monkey dust in your part of the world mucker

I honestly think there’s little if any improvement of course Leicester are light years better than us but I expected a more joined up team and actually getting up the field quicker with more bodies and some form of intent. It was embarrassing today watching 2/3 Leicester players unmarked on each flank, rank bad management.
What I watched today was the polar opposite, pretty much like for like from last season, nothing whatsoever to get the pulse racing and at times slow and cumbersome.
Sorry but I can’t see an improvement or what Jones is trying to put together here and why he’s signed players in positions that are already well covered and ignored the blindingly obvious frailties in the team, to me it’s going through the same motions of last season.

The space out wide got me concerned I have to say but Leicester were much better than us all over really so a better benchmark will be QPR.......we need some pace though!

However much Id like to disagree with you I can’t. Biggest problems for me are Allen, Clucas, Afobe and McLean. Allen - what’s his role. I like him but he’s not good enough on the ball. Clucas - Expected more. Not sure what he brings to the table. Afobe - doesn’t work with Vokes. We need someone faster and better. McLean - great effort but not good defensively. At least with Powell and Cousins there role is specific

Yet the manager persists with it with Campbell and Gregory on the bench.
