Pissing it down now. Hope it stops be great for Afghanistan to register a victory.... Actually think a shortened game favours them more, they're 7th in the World in T20s! Looking at the rain I reckon it's game over unfortunately.......

Pakistan turn up for one or two games every world cup and are as predictable as the lottery numbers.
Yesterday they turned up. Batted well, bowled well, fielded as well as they can and were captained superbly.
England still very much among the most likely to win the tournament with Aussies, Kiwis and Indians (when they eventually join the competition!)

India starting today against a South Africa side on the verge of an exit already, very interested to see whether that added intensity raises or lowers their performance. South Africa winning would take a bit of pressure off our defeat the other day too.

South Africa may as well get on the plane now. Horrible mess of a side.

Why would South Africa bat first in this game when they should know that India are a chasing team. Beggars belief

Where is this run fest that the pundits were all predicting?
At the moment it looks like 300 is a decent target to set.
West Indies v Australia tomorrow looks a bit tasty (Now I have said that will probably see the team batting first skittled again)

I think we have a better chance of beating the Aussies then the Windies, so a big win for the lads in Maroon today please.

Why would South Africa bat first in this game when they should know that India are a chasing team. Beggars belief Even more so when you have Rabada and Tahir. India's tail is very long and South Africa were a few chances away from making a small chase very sticky. Kumar, Kuldeep, Chahal and Bumrah are rabbits in the one day form.

West Indies proving a bit of chin music can still be effective. 38-4.

West Indies proving a bit of chin music can still be effective. 38-4. they will obliterate England if they bowl like this I think Roy and Bairstow would love this bowling compared to the leg-spin they've been facing early. Questions over other members of the side but Roy flourished against this bowling attack earlier this year.

West Indies were where I put my tenner, definite dark horses with Russell providing the x-factor. After a slow start the tournament is bubbling up nicely....

West Indies proving a bit of chin music can still be effective. 38-4. they will obliterate England if they bowl like this Hopefully England have been watching how Australia have gone about things and will realise that if you bat sensibly early, even if you only get 30 off the first 10 overs, the fire quickly goes out of the surface and batting becomes much easier after about 15-20 overs. Bat carefully and with wickets in hand there should be an opportunity to score heavily in the last 30 overs.

The umpiring in the West Indies innings has been atrocious!
That is now 4 decisions overturned by DRS and even the one that wasn't was only just flicking the outside edge of leg-stump and should have actually been a free hit because the ball before Starc had overstepped by a good 6 inches!

I saw the two decisions against Chris Gayle in the same over - they were obviously wrong even before the review decision.

Cannot stand the Aussies. The Liverpool of the cricket world. Why cant you stand the Aussies because they are one of the best teams in the World Cup? Same as Liverpool in the premier league. Get over yourself, come on Aussies, you can actually do what the Poms struggle to do in everything they play.

Yep, arrogance - they've certainly got the most arrogant load of supporters as well. I was unfortunate enough to sit next to some Aussies at Old Trafford, and also at Edgbaston, a few year's ago - my god they were bloody arrogant and extremely obnoxious and condescending. They weren't pleasant, there was no friendly banter, it was just sheer arrogance. Oh yes - Don't forget that the players CHEAT as well !

The only difference between Australia cheating and every other team is that the Aussies got caught. They have served their penalty, which is a lot worse than any other country has done to their stars. Also, when you are good at what you do whats wrong with being proud of it, its what we strive for. For the record, Smith did not cheat, he took it on himself to take some of the blame as he was the captain and mentor to his players. I for one applaud his decision.
