'Boro losing again, 0-1 at home.
I thought promotion and 90+ points was a given- what's happened?

He’s managing expectations just like at Stoke.

His myopic brand of football has reached the end of its shelf life.
Let’s see if he’ll take the pay off without trying to defraud a whole club this time.

Ah your being unfair. He would bring a wealth of experience at Championship level and he'd ensure fitness levels were high. I was half joking but the more I think about it, it wouldn't be as daft as it sounds. Don't write it off as we all know Peter is very fond of him

Boro have lost 5 games in a row now... It looks like Boro fans have had enough of Pulis and his boring, simplistic style of football.

Pulis' stubbornness to adapt in the modern game is costing him big time. His tactics are so out of date it's unbelievable. Adapt or perish.

The way teams press high up the pitch as one these days it’s no surprise his low block style is being ruthlessly exposed. Then with his direct play anyone who gets the ball up top is isolated and picked off. One can only imagine the space between the wingers and fullbacks that teams are finding for overloads.

With that squad he should be pissing the Championship but he won't trust his players. Odd really because when he let the reigns off here we were very good for a while before he shat his pants and bottled it. Similar at Palace where he did well.

They’re both Welsh and both believe in hard work but their philosophies otherwise could scarcely be more different. I don't know about philosophies but I do know we've scored 4 goals in the last 11 matches. We're rattling them in at a rate of about 1 every 5 hours! You might not know about philosophies, but surely you know enough about Pulis to know that whether he’s successfully guiding a club like Stoke to promotion, or leaving a club like West Brom plunging towards relegation, his ‘goals for’ column is always going to be one of the most meagre in the country. Jones doesn’t have such an extensive back catalogue, but his Luton team in 2016/17 were the 5th highest scorers in League 2, his Luton team in 2017/18 were the 2nd highest scorers in the top 4 divisions, and the Luton team he left in January are currently the joint 2nd highest scorers in the top 4 divisions. Why you’ve chosen to bring our current lack of goals into this equation only you know. But if past history is anything to go by, Jones’ lack of goals with a team he’s only recently inherited is not something you’d look to hang your hat on in comparison to a bloke whose most fanatical followers are duty bound to concede that goals are irrelevant.

Sounds like attacking football.

He's doing a decent job with a crap team, the same scenario that Jones has to cope with. No he isn't. He's done a low key version of what Rowett's done, taken a team that was one of the overwhelming favourites, spent more than the majority of the league and threatened to take them out of the hunt altogether with dire, eye-bleeding, outdated football.
