Let's see him nail down a place and repeat them performances. He owes it, as do plenty of others. Make no mistake We'll be in for a new number 10 in the summer because them performances come with less regularity than the lunar eclipse. Nath knows š You're contradicting your own arguement!!! You're arguing that those performances are few and far between, yet you're also saying about him nailing down a place".....there's your own answer!!! How's he gonna nail down a place in the side when (for the life of me, I don't understand why), Jones preferred "always end up on me arse" Ince at No10??? I fail to see what Ince brings to the team when he's out wide, nevermind in the No10 position??? Bojan will have mediocre games, as well as good games, in the same way most players do.......but there's nobody better in the side (at the moment) who can play the No10 roll!!! There is a reason he won't nail down a place mate it's not coincidental. I 'know'he won't nail down a place. One half decent performance gives him another get out of jail free card for another 3 years though to the blinkered

Perspectives. Except nowhere have I "damned" him. Nowhere at all. Itās a harsh āperspectiveā. It was our best performance for weeks and he was at the heart of it. Maybe we disagree on Bojan precisely - but not to extremes. You might give a 8-9/10? I'm giving a 7??? But completely agree on the team performance. Thought they were very good yesterday. Unlucky not to win. Dominated, through a mix of discpline, tactics and superior talent/technique. Personally, Allen, Pete and Tom were the standout stars for me - I guess I saw the game was dominated more because their awareness, skill, energy and aggression meant they all (metaphorically) battered their opposing numbers. First to the ball, not giving a sniff, solid in possession, good decision making and execution when passing. Play like that - feels like a team that needs to keep the spirit of yesterday and just needs one or two choice signings and to keep playing together until the end of the season - which is far from the basket case oft described.

His ability to find space where there was none and to then take the ball in that tight space was a delight to watch. It is no coincidence that we've dominated the ball and had much better control of games in each of the games hes started under both rowett and Jones.

Why are you so desperate to play down the fact that he had a good game? Regardless of what it does or doesnāt mean for the future, should we as, you know, Stoke fans not just be pleased he played well? Same as I've just said above. For a promotion push we need consistency, he won't provide it. He's the most frustrating player going. Bags of natural ability but doesn't produce it often enough. A key role needs consistency How can he be expected to deliver consistency when he only plays a few minutes every six weeks...

Like every Bojan thread, and there's been hundreds of them, after one or possibly two pages of decent exchanges about the player and the performances, some maybe somewhat over-exuberant, the thread then changes its direction and cease to be about football, Stoke or the player, but get to be about berahinosgoals exclusively, as he runs himself evermore into corners he cannot get out of. He just cannot stand the thought that these threads should not be about him, just look up any previous one, he never fails.

I'd like to see Bojan play for the rest of the season as 1) he's attractive to watch and 2) he's probably our most natural fit as point of the diamond, if Jones decides to go that way next year.
Can't see it happening though, my theory is that Clucas spent his entire recuperation period reading "Mesmerism for Fun and Profit" (it's the only reason I can think of for his total undropability) and will be back in the team as soon as his suspension is over.

It depends which direction you're coming from.. you've got a whole host of boj an bum boys including yourself that won't have a bad word said about him, that's why they drag on, look above. I tell it how it is wether you and bojans little bum chums like it or not. Fact is he's not held a position under a whole host of managers, Now you tell me that's a coincidence?? He's also done jack shit for scfc in 3 years, in the whole 5 he's been here he's produced 3 months of form. Now i know you don't like to hear it but it's true. Any other player they'd get stick. I think that the the majority expect him to tear teams apart on his own. he can produce that bit of quality that can make something happen and today he was exciting to watch. I think that he's not the player that the hype had everyone believe and the pressure has effected him. He seems to grow with confidence and being the bit part player has had a negative impact. I think his goal for Catalan could be the spark he's needed I think you are right about the confidence issue, when Verlinden was being prepared to come on Bojan shoulders slumped as I think he fully expected to be hooked. Being kept on for the full 90 will have done him the world of good and I hope him playing ahead of Allen & Etebo, who were both excellent yesterday, is how we line up for the rest of the season. Keeping all three will then for me be a priority issue for the close season.

Well, if NJ is going to play his diamond, I can't think of another in the squad who'd be at the top of the diamond - or most forward midfielder - other than Bojan. Whether he makes it or not into the manager's plans, he should play now until the end of season. Performs, he keeps his place - and it reveals whether Ince/Maclean/Verlinden are capable of playing alongside. If he doesn't perform, then NJ needs to find someone who can. So either way, Bojan should play now shouldn't he?.

Based on your original swallow comment it would be fair to say you thought he had a decent game at the very least. What in particular impressed you? I thought he looked the part. Orchestrated, moved the ball well, moved well & looked hungry on his toes but then so did 4 or 5 others. Won't even blame him for the shot that pericard would have tucked away as he's as rusty as a nail at the bottom of my grandad shed tool box. Thing is though we need someone consistent for a promotion push. I Think he might be of use as a second choice but we desperately need a first choice in summer, a good one aswell. Hopefully the management arnt fooled by a flash in the pan. The word consistent as you use can only be applied if played. Your hatred for bojan stands out a mile and sounds like youād argue blacks white when it comes down to bojan. I take it you think Berahino is consistent. Oh yes consistently shit. Youāre a tool mate n you should be at bottom of your grandads toolbox

I'm happy to leave it there, another 7 games and he'll be gone anyway. If you want reasons to support the argument for giving Bojan a fair chance to succeed, which is all many of us are asking: 1. He came on against Rotherham and scored the equaliser. 2. Stoke were winning when he has come off in three of his five starts in the league this season, namely Brentford, Bolton, and Forest. We were drawing against Birmingham and losing the other at Hull, where in my opinion he was our best player for the first 60 minutes. 3. Yesterday he was a breath of fresh air making himself available for passes (which Ince does too little of) and making creative passes (which McClean is incapable of), yet Ince and McClean keep getting picked even when they play badly. I agree Bojan has come on for the last 10 - 15 minutes in lots of games and been ineffective, but Ince and McClean have played for hours this season and been ineffective. As I said above those of us calling for Bojan simply want the guy to be given a fair chance to get into match form and show what he is capable of at this level of football.

One half decent performance gives him another get out of jail free card for another 3 years though to the blinkered Seems pretty much everyone except you is blinkered on this, how strange. Seeing as you 'know' he won't nail down a place and our points haul for the rest of the season will be pretty much irrelevant, I'm struggling to see exactly what it is you're worried about.
