You're not renewing because of the fans, fish!? Seems dubious to me that! The older I get, the less patience I have. I'm going to end up getting into trouble because some of our supporters are really pissing me off. My son is also a major factor as to why I'm not renewing. My Lad stopped going 2 years ago and I thought id never enjoy a game again, but there are some good people around me in the Boothen and we have a good laugh. Maybe a change of seat?

I'm undecided, but erring on NO
The buzz is sadly no longer there.
In previous seasons, when I have been unable to attend, other people have bought my ticket from me. This season, I have missed six games and only once has anyone wanted the ticket, and he was a Wigan fan at a loose end on a Saturday!!
There is also a most obnoxious bloke behind us who I've had enough of.
I will still try to attend when I can and I'm sure there will be plenty of tickets available.

I’ll answer on behalf of five guys in our local all of which (a) are over 50 years of age, (b) have been season ticket holders for a number of years (and before our Premiership days) and (c) consider the pricing as good value.
Main reasons
Our gradual decline over the last three years to our present position. Failure to manage the decline. The quality of the matchday experience The recruitment of players the like of Jesé, Berahino, Choupo-Moting etc. Failure by non playing senior management apparently being acceptable. Disrespectful statements from the Club’s hierarchy i.e. Don’t understand what the fuss is all about, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
This season has seen after match discussion/argument turn into a shrug of the shoulders, apathy has set in!!! Have they been lost forever? Who knows, that must be the worrying factor for the owners.

I’ll be renewing ours, but I’m going to tease them until the final day. It’s a tactic bound to upset them.

I think they did try this year. They spent a fortune and let the manager spend it but the manager was an idiot to a scale none of us could foresee... As for the statements, I don’t think it’s that the mean to be disrespectful it’s just that Peter Coates seems to have the charisma of a pile of bricks.

I won't be renewing. Living in Bristol and work commitments have made it difficult to see as many matches as i'd have liked to. In the prem it was important to have a season ticket so that i could pick and choose the big games and not have to worry about being able to get a ticket for them. That being said i'll still be going to the same amount of games that i have this season.

No mate, that’s where I think you’re wrong. It’ll keep Peter and Tony up at night for the month worrying about me, my old man and my boys... Will they renew? Won’t they? They’ll be tearing their hair out.

Not renewing my three, daughters bored with it and due to a new boyfriend has found other ways to spend match days, Like going to watch Newcastle,me and the wife are so bored we actually have a conversation, I’ve seen a lot worse in my 54yrs supporting stoke but as you get older blind faith doesn’t cut it anymore. We are going to choose our games and if it looks as though things are improving,we will get a half season ticket

If you're not renewing, please provide your reasons why. I know that people at the club are interested,as they're not selling as quickly as they would have liked. I'm not renewing, as my son has lost all interest and we're no longer enjoying the match day experience. This is mainly down to fans constantly slating players. I think we have a new breed of supporter that I no longer want to be a part of. I'll be renewing.... But I've got to admit, I'm really falling out of love with football these days!!! If it wasn't for Stoke, I think I'd lose interest altogether.....can't abide the Premier league and the champions league, and I only ever bother with the international team when it's major events such as the World cup and European Cup!!!

I’m renewing but I’m also going wait until the last minute just in case I die or turn gay before the deadline. Either of which I wouldn’t be attending. Not that gay people don’t attend but if it were to happen to me in such a short space of time then I would probably spend my weekends in a confused state!

unfortunately we arent renewing i used to go with my dad in the 70s as a nipper then came back with mates in the Macari years only to drift again due to finances buying a house etc i returned at the start of the Hughes era as my son was in the city sevens and became interested in football and so after the free tickets i took the plinge for the first time ever and got two season tickets in the then Q railing stand.
he loved it match day couldnt come quick enough he had posters the kits etc he thrived on the Premier League excitement watching MOTD etc. i admit i loved it too. then when we dropped he asked whats it like in the Championship and i told him of the Macari years, heros lime Steino an how great the cut and thrust of the games were. he was excited but this season has really knocked the stuffing out of him hes become so disinterested in Stoke more important is his own football now and subsequently hes switching to a saturday league team next year as he finds it better than watching Stoke. i take him and to be honest have enjoyed the kids football better than stoke hence when i asked if he wanted a season ticket he said no a d asked if he could use the money to get a new pair of boots for himself.
hence thats it we will crawl to the end of this season and hes done and so am i whether the media hype has destroyed football or stoke simply became boring i guess iill never really know but i will have more money in my back pocket to go to gigs next year and see bands who do give a damn for their fans and he will still be excited for his football and i to watch him
thanks for the memories Stoke 😢

For me it's not about winning etc. Is about going to the game, getting behind them and if the chips are down then you know in football that fortunes can change so quickly. People were moaning when we were in the top half of the Prem but their choice and also if they attend or not. All clubs have ups and downs, look below us at the mess some big clubs are in.

For the first time in almost 30 years I'll not renew (neither are my now grown lads). Various reasons including sick of trekking up and down and losing best part of Saturday to watch some pretty average rubbish. I'm also disillusioned with the way our club has been run over the last couple of seasons throwing away all the hard work put in previously to establish ourselves at the highest level possible. The hierarchy at the top are so slow to act when everyone could see what was happening. On top of all this is my general disillusionment with the game generally as exemplified by some of our own players - paid loads but show little respect or responsibility. A dicky hip has meant I couldn't get down much this season and to be honest I've not missed the match day experience. I may well go and do some gloryhunting at Southport instead once I get a new hip 😁.

Me and the wife wife have decided enough is enough. we just don’t enjoy it anymore. The last few years have killed it for us. Starting from keeping Hughes too long. Not learning from past mistakes, and keeping the directors on. Rowett was a tossed, and most of the players don’t seem to care as long as they get the wages. Im gutted as I use to love it and I lived for Saturdays but not I dread going each week.
