too change seats you would have to have one in the first place! imo the op is not a s/t holder he just doesn't want anyone else to have one. Only had one for 30 years đ had one for 30 years?yet you throw a hissy fit now??guess you really enjoyed the old third division before lou rescued us,before the self destruct button kicked in again and we found ourselves back in the mire. anybody supporting stoke city would know we have been a lot worse than where we are now. god your Saturday night must have been ruined with us winning.

I'm renewing. The club has been through much worse than this in my 42 years as a supporter. Next season will see us promoted. Make no mistake. We have absolutely fantastic owners and a manager with the grit, determination and will power to send us to the top again. Renewed mine while I was down at the ground on Monday you get the feeling that this manager will sort Hughes's mess out

Just renewed our 3 tickets. My wife sits next to her Dad and its what they do (and have done for a long time) so she was always going to renew. I was bloody desperate not to in protest at the absolute shambles going on behind the scenes and on the pitch for the last couple of years. I realised that this would just be a futile gesture as Coates, Scholes and Cartwright et al would not really care. If I had not renewed and Nathan did the business and we started doing well again I would really despise myself for jumping ship when things got tough and then going again when it looked like things were on the up. Also I like the people I sit with and would miss them. SO I'm steeling myself for another season and I'll grasp tightly onto that thin thread of hope that Nath will sort us out. I'm defo not telling my 10 year old that were going next season though - the news needs breaking to him gently!

I am renewing but just before April 2nd. I will continue to travel up from Wokingham Berkshire to support the club. Yes we are in the Championship for the first time in a decade and as others have said we have had worse times.
Support your team through thick and thin!

Hissy fit? I think your reaction is closer to having a 'hissy fit' than what I've actually said. I've merely pointed out that some of the thick, ignorant twats that follow our club are very frustrating and are putting me off attending every game. That coupled with the fact that my son is no longer going to attend are fairly good enough reasons in my opinion. I've probably been to many more stadiums than most on here to be honest. As for winning, I love it when we win. I'm not saying that I'll never go to the game again. I'm just not renewing. Hope that this provides some clarity for you.

Itâs a little bit of the triumph of hope over expectation, but weâll be renewing our three tickets.
Letâs be frank, itâs been awful for quite a while now but surely it must improve next year?

But I've got to admit, I'm really falling out of love with football these days!!! If it wasn't for Stoke, I think I'd lose interest altogether.....can't abide the Premier league and the champions league, and I only ever bother with the international team when it's major events such as the World cup and European Cup!!! This sums up my predicament entirely. I've gradually fallen out of love with watching* the game and over the past 3 seasons, our spectacular fall from grace - coupled with the turgid grey wank served up masquerading as 'football' - has made going to the match an unedifying chore. I totally get the points other people have made about football supporting being about much more than the football, that a sense of belonging and the ritual of socialising over a few beers every Saturday holds as much significance to many than simply witnessing your team play. For me though, the football is the worst part of the day - I dread leaving the pub to go to the ground and whilst I'm at the game I find myself clockwatching more often than not, wishing away the seconds and minutes until I can get back to the warm sanctuary of the boozer with pals. Add in the fact that following a football club eats up quite a bit of resource both financially and in terms of time and it seems crazy to keep apportioning my spare time and throwing money at something I don't really enjoy. Taking all this into account, I renewed my season ticket this Monday. *still play twice a week and will continue to do so until my legs no longer work.

As of today I will not be renewing, however, there are 25 or so days to go before the early bird period ends so there is time for me to change my mind.
I have been a season ticket holder since 1975 and seen far worse Stoke teams than the current one but as I`ve got older my blind faith seems to have dwindled and the whole match day experience isn`t quite was it was in previous years - I have even started leaving early just to avoid the horrendous traffic after the match, something which I would previously deemed to be just something that you have to live with.
C`mon Stoke make me change my mind.

I'm not sure, If were purely a usual watch Stoke decision I would probably renew. However I hate modern football and fotballers in general. Sick of time wasting and rolling around by 22 people I can't relate too and many I don't like.
I used to watch any football on the telly, I can't remeber the last time I watched a game all the way through, let alone enjoy it.
Southgate and England suprised me in the summer though as I wanted them all to suceed. I was surpised, as for a while I couldn't stand most England players, Rooney etc.
I renew 5 usually, it cost ÂŁ1500 ÂŁ1600? I'm sure theres better ways to spend that cash.
Probably see you all next year though.

Will renew before the deadline, good times / bad times seen plenty, hope to see plenty more. It's not just about the 90 minutes The question was for those who are NOT renewing. I feel honoured that you singled me out from all the other respondents who are also renewing

I will be renewing my ticket once again. I am not renewing Grandsons ticket. He has fell in love with Rugby. Plus the fans that sit around us do nothing but moan. I moved from the Boothen End two years ago too the family stand. It is just as bad there. So i am moving to the big stand. Hopefully it is full of silent supporters...đ You will need a blanket and a tartan flask. They are compulsory.

I'm renewing, not for the footy at the moment but as an excuse to get into the Staff, Bulla and Bush and Welly for the Bass (pre and sometimes post-match)! BTW the Bass in the Wellington is IMHO the best!! Football, what football.

If you're not renewing, please provide your reasons why. I know that people at the club are interested,as they're not selling as quickly as they would have liked. I'm not renewing, as my son has lost all interest and we're no longer enjoying the match day experience. This is mainly down to fans constantly slating players. I think we have a new breed of supporter that I no longer want to be a part of. why does anyone need to tell the reason why? Are you Peter ?

Iâll renew all mine, as always.
The past few years have seen me renewing more because of a case of it being âthatâs what we doâ...this year under Rowett I started telling people that I wasnât going to renew, in a way I suppose to get myself mentally in a place where I could walk away.
Right now, with NJ at the helm, I am in. This guy is installing something that we have long since lost and I conner wait to see the difference next season.
Make no mistake, he worked wonders at Luton and they play a style of football that I want Stoke to play. He has my 100% backing.

I know that clubs do the renewal around this time of year so they are clear around finance for the forthcoming season in plenty of time. However, unless you are in the promotion mix itâs always a rubbish time to renew and is worse if relegation is on offer as per last year. Despite what happens in a poor season, I always feel optimistic in the summer when the season has long since finished and the opening fixture is still a good month away....itâs like you are so desperate for the fix, despite knowing had bad its just been, but you canât help yourself and feel more positive. So, if finances and administration of the scheme werenât the issue that they of course need to be, i wonder how many more renewals there would be if it was done in that summer âcold turkeyâ period. Itâs a bit like it being easier to sell a soft top car on a sunny day than in minus five and pissing it down conditions. This season tickets in March shit is a relatively modern phenomenon. Back in the day season tickets always went on sale in the summer. Maybe we shouldnât play ball with this early renewal crap and no one should buy until the current season is over. Clubs take the piss out of the fans loyalty and try to scare them that they will lose their seat. Itâs probably for that reason more than anything else that they are against bringing back standing. I won't be renewing. Living in Bristol and work commitments have made it difficult to see as many matches as i'd have liked to. In the prem it was important to have a season ticket so that i could pick and choose the big games and not have to worry about being able to get a ticket for them. That being said i'll still be going to the same amount of games that i have this season.  www.southweststokies.co.ukBM

After 20 years itâs with a heavy heart that I wonât be renewing. Like others I feel disillusioned with the way the club has been run over the last few years but the main reason is that my son has moved up an age group in cricket which means his net session has moved from 9am to 11am. As we live in Bristol that means we simply wonât be able to get there in time so basically wonât be able to attend Saturday matches from January onwards. Family & work commitments mean I havenât been able to get to midweek fixtures for the last few years anyway so financially it just doesnât make sense anymore đ˘ You could always go on your own mate. I do these days! BM

I will renew along with my dad, brother and son but I've got to be honest if it wasn't for my dad I dont think I would bother... And that's after following the club for close on 50 years and being a season ticket holder for 20 years... It's getting tougher to keep going To be fair it not just our current situation....Im losing the love for football in general...Theres a lot i dont like about the modern game.

Have just renewed my two.
Must admit that I have not enjoyed a game for some time with the exception of Derby and Leeds at home this season. Got home last night SOAKED and started to wonder is it worth it. Truth is I have probably felt the same before.
I am optimistic for next season .

My two sons and I will not be renewing. We were at Anfield for the LCSF and I thought then that things will start to deteriorate. I didn't think the deterioration would be so profound. Exacerbated by self sufficiency and lack of awareness of the problems the fans were seeing. Finally, simply being bored with the offerings on display.
Not been a number of matches this season and frankly have not missed it one iota. Shame really as I have been going since 1963 and my two boys since they were about ten years old.
