A top player in the making - he was my Motm today especially after playing through the pain barrier first half - well played Tom....

This lad will get better and better with game time. Could be an ever present next season.

But he's still had more bad than good games this season How many of our players haven't had more bad games than good games this season? It's easier to play better when the team is playing better.

All of a sudden, after adding Batth and getting more from Edwards, our back four look superb.

Excellent performance from Edwards today and, for me, should have been MOM. In fact, we looked pretty good all round defensively today.

Edwards really is starting to look the part now for me. Sometimes you look at players differently when they've come up through the ranks - if we'd signed a left back in the window and he'd played as well as he has last few games we'd be well pleased.

Just watching the highlights on Quest and seen El Ghazi running riot against a number of Derby defenders today.
Maybe Tom didn't do too badly against him after all, given he hardly gave him a kick before his injury?

Well done, Tom.
Delighted how he bounced back this week after his error against Villa.

You can not coach pace simple as that. <iframe width="26.1800000000001" height="5.42000000000002" id="MoatPxIOPT0_57330801" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 26.18px; height: 5.42px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="26.1800000000001" height="5.42000000000002" id="MoatPxIOPT0_94327830" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1246px; top: -5px; width: 26.18px; height: 5.42px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="26.1800000000001" height="5.42000000000002" id="MoatPxIOPT0_12517950" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 209px; width: 26.18px; height: 5.42px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="26.1800000000001" height="5.42000000000002" id="MoatPxIOPT0_99633942" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1246px; top: 209px; width: 26.18px; height: 5.42px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> True but clever players can survive without pace. Paul mcgrath perfect example! 👍

Good sign that he can bounce back from a shocker the week before with an excellent effort the following week.
Shows character.

The lad deserves time and I hope it gets it for the rest of the season. He's come into a dog shet side with no morale so isn't getting the assistance you would ideally like young lads to get from the more experienced pros. He makes mistakes but I've seen glimpses of real promise at times. I've got my fingers crossed for the lad. Congratulations on your first post not about the pizza boys! Fully agreed, he should be playing every game from now until the end of the season, hopefully he does enough to convince NJ he can be our first choice right back long term. He’s not the finished article but he has shown potential and I’m not convinced Bauer is a better option on this seasons form.

For me that’s his best game so far. I’ve been critical of his decision making before but he was excellent today...very disciplined and nullified any threat from the right. Well done Tom.

It isn't rocket science is it?
Give a young lad with talent some belief and game time and he improves.

He’s improved massively of late for me and had a good game again tonight.I just wish he’d believe in himself a little more when getting forward instead of turning back because he’s a genuine threat

The down side is if he keeps it up one of the Prem clubs will be taking him away.
