So he won the January poll and an overwhelming majority said they'd be happy with him in the summer. I rest my case :-) I should point out he was at the bottom of my list ;-)

Just about to post that tweet myself. If Rowett hasnt even discussed available funds by now them there is a real problem at this club There is, it's called Gary Rowett.

Is there anybody in the know, who could tell us what is going on? They're working flat out to get Moyes in this week so they can fuck Rowett off before Brentford.

I'm sure Grapey can find the polls he did both in January and the summer? As a matter of interest who did you want in the summer? I think he won the January poll, Gary. But don't think he was in the summer poll as I (completely wrongly) assumed he was a total no-go. And I don't really recall much chat about him as a serious contender until, almost out of nowhere, he was almost presented as a done deal. Sadly I remember being in favour of his appointment but what we got wasn't what was promised. I was also in favour of giving him time to build a team that if we didn't get promoted this year woukd do so next. Had I seen progress in that direction I would still be supporting, however all the evidence I have seen points to a failure. Coupled with that, even if we were in the top two, his comments to and about fans are totally unacceptable.

I was hoping I'd wake up this evening hearing the news that rowett has been given the axe but no he's still here. Everything seems to be pointing to the appointment of David Moyes I read the sentinel and they reckon the hierarchy are waiting on an answer from somebody before the boards next move I wish all this saga would be put to bed! Hopefully by the time I get in from work in the morning and have slept we will have heard some news. 👍

I suppose before Birmingham we were expecting a better Xmas period, then came Bolton and it was really at the Bristol game things turned which was only a week ago...seems like it has been forever though...still pretty poor form coming out not saying anything at all
If it is to avoid being publicly turned down again I don't see how it helps...if we don't have a new manager by the weekend everyone will know its gone tits up. What are they going to do come out and deny they were ever looking for one and say that they just ignored all the fans for a week and half cos they couldn't be bothered to make any kind of statement?!

I just spoke to some work colleagues who support Everton and arsenal. I mentioned what Rowett had said about being elsewhere on a satdee!?! The reaction was priceless ?? What?!??! We’d go effing ballistic, don’t know how lucky they are!!!
Even if silva or Emery would come out an say that would be the end!

Dave hasn't been online since 4th Dec.
He was giving us a running commentary this time last year.

True I voted to stay in EEC in 1975 but realised my mistake and voted out of EU in 2016

Is it better to get rid early/mid week even if the replacement isn't done, or hold on and put Rowett in the dug out on Sat?

Rowett has completely lost us and the season is officially a damp squid. I'm on tender hooks here and wish the board would just stop this speculation and nip it in the butt. That Rowett can continue is a mute point - just get a new manager in now and he'll be chomping at the bit to get going vs. Brentford at the weekend. If Moyes is in charge on Saturday playing with a simple 4-2-3-1 to start off with, we will absolutely dick Brentford.

Who actually thinks GR is going to be sacked, little coming from the club perhaps if they keep quiet it may just go away 🤫🤫

I genuinely believed if there was going to be a reaction it would have been today.
Can the clubs leadership team be silent on matters like this and just carry on, or is the work being done in the back ground to make announcements simultaneously?
I don’t know which one is worse, is he is the manager for Saturday it’s only going to get more toxic and have more anger. No doubt the fans will sing the same songs at Brentford.
The club either has to come formally and back the manager or not.

Ignore the fans at there own peril in my opinion. All this silence is them clearly chasing who they want in without all the public fanfare of last year.
