Who has got teams promoted from the Championship off that list, let alone have experience of that league? One name stands out.....

Graham Potter for me, get off the merry go round of the usual names and go for a young ambitious manager with fresh ideas and build. A change of direction is required

QSF, Jokanovic, Silva and Potter, in that order. I like the idea of Junior Potter, but he has no experience of managing in the English game and we need someone to steady the ship first.

If it’s simply a case of trying to get back up at the first attempt then it has to be Allardyce, should the opportunity present itself. He’s not perfect and it might be a return to simple and unspectacular football but he knows the league inside out and knows how to get results. The downside to it is that he’d be shortsighted appointment and safe option, which is why we are where we are today.
If not, I’d like to see us revisit QSF given he’s lost his job and we might need someone to come and start a project here. I think someone like him would give the support a lift and is a little more unpredictable. However I don’t know if bridges were burnt.
After that, I’ve gone Pearson and Bilic. Pearson is mad and the PL is probably out of his reach at this time so a job like Stoke would be good for him. I like Bilic and think he maybe fell victim to the batshit mental West Ham machine whilst also letting himself down a little. I don’t know if he’d have the right knowledge to know what’s required down in the Championship but wouldn’t be against giving him a go.
Has there been any more talk on Lambert going based on this thread being created? Or is just fanciful in the hope we do get shot of Lambert? Can anybody really tell me they’d be excited at the prospect of Lambert leading us out in August? I think that’s the thing I dread most, he’s so clearly useless.

Where is manager of the season John Askey and he is a Stokie. I asked him tonight if he would take over at Stoke? He just smiled at me

Says on the poll 639 votes by 245 voters.

I thought I read somewhere that Rafa was considering leaving Newcastle to live closer to his family on the Wirral, I'd go all out to give him an offer he'd find hard to refuse.
But if Rafa is not added to the list then Big Sam is proven at that level

I would add Michael Laudrup to that list. That'd be pointless. He only wants to manage clubs that have a realistic chance of winning things. We have a chance...but it's not realistic!

I don't think that's what Michael has in mind...he wants to win League Championships or/and Champions Leagues or he's just not bothered
