He is a sensitive soul isn’t he. No wonder he wins few headers and even fewer tackles. Since the start of our relegation season until today, when BMI plays we concede on average over 1.7 goals per game- worse than Shawcross and much worse than Williams. If I was him I’d concentrate on sorting out his own inadequacy. We need to cut Bruno dome slack here. You try playing footie while you have your hands covering your ears...bet it's not easy.

They could use ear plugs? They don’t seem to communicate with each other so no loss there. Just pass it to the nearest person you can see whether that be backwards, sideways or a person surrounded by three opposition players...easy

I can’t be arsed to read through the 121 pages, but when did we become like this?
Stoke Loud and Proud and Wizards of Drivel are continually negative, but we are need to collectively get behind the team and make some positive noise.
I can’t remember, did were we shouting for Kamara out, or Bates out, or Megson out?

It's a joke. He's not happy about the Bolton and Bristol performances. He made a joke about how bad it was. Nothing more to read into it really is there? He also said there were places he’d rather be “before”the Birmingham game. Strange how he got that poor performance right before it even happened. In terms of facing the Birmingham fans, yeah. Not that he can't be arsed turn up for a football match.

Im not sure it would reduce it tbh, the way it is currently the only way to do it would be results on the pitch and nothing else, I think if Rowett goes people will just move on to someone else, understandably there's still a hangover from relegation and the way things were handled last season. They need to get this right or it just gets worse, in my view they are doing it right, take some time talking to who you want, get him lined up then let Rowett go. Come off it, if Rooster/Phillips/Rory is in the dugout on Saturday no way do any of them get the stick Rowett’s got. I didn't particularly mean the new manager or caretaker but someone will get it.

And yes there was rising discontent with the managers in 97-98, even if the majority of the animosity was reserved for Coates, Humphries and Moxey. What is there to be positive about?

Not immediately there wouldn’t. There would be recognition of the situation and a certain initial galvanising, even Nice Guy Eddie got that at OT.

Not much whatsover. Booing and bringing negativity after 5 minutes is, well, a bit... rubbish still mind. They've got no chance.

It's incredibly difficult to be positive when you don't expect a good performance anymore, and your manager is losing all touch with the reality that the fans really do fucking hate him. The only way there is going to be positivity now is if he gets sacked and someone decent comes in. That or Rowett goes on a mad bender, plays 4231, plays Bojan, and we score about 6 a game and finish 1st in an incredible resurgence the likes of which have never been witnessed before in Championship history.

Letting this drag on and it's being completely obvious Rowett won't be in charge has the potential to paint us in a bad light.
For what anyone here thinks of Rowett and his behaviour of late the club should act professional and these constant stories of who next manager will be, whilst someone is in charge can come across as disrespectful.
Saying all that Rowett is a tosser!

I said on 2 Jan in another thread if he was here for five more days he would be here for the season. I'm willing to push that out another 2-3 days, but if he's here during Brentford it's either they are tying up loose ends on a new manager (and I assume with transfer targets already started) or he is here for the season.

Bad pr if he is here for the season. If so they needed to come out and publicly back him and make a spin regarding transfer and promotion Hope's. The fact they haven't leads me to think that there is work going on to remove him, hoping hes gone today so the manager appointed can at least have a couple of days with the players to get ready to smash the bees

With no new players that's too late. Cant see them letting gr have any funds so I guess it's over to the pizza boys to get their buys in

Just about to post that tweet myself. If Rowett hasnt even discussed available funds by now them there is a real problem at this club Why? If the top 6 at halfway point Clause is true, we’ve realistically been a way off that since the start. What’s the point in ‘here’s what you could have won’ talks?

Feel for whoever comes in as they will have the same issues with Scholes and Cartwright.

I can’t remember, were we shouting for Kamara out, or Bates out, or Megson out? On the day that Megson was appointed, I found a discarded tin of yellow spraypaint on City Rd on my way home after a night of underage drinking in Stoke and sprayed 'MEGSON OUT!' on a wall by the entrance to Fenton Mannor. It stayed there for the next decade or so. I don't know why I did it (well, I do - I was a pissed-up 17-year-old) but by November of that year, Megson was bulleted to make way for Gudjon. Y ou could say that the writing was literally on the wall for Meggo.

How do you know there is a meeting? Mate at the club. Apparently 11am. There's some truth about a clause in the contract but I'm not certain on the specifics. Huge row after the match with board and management team, which resulted in people going home to cool off. Rowett left the stadium 1 hour after the game had finished. Interesting history repeating itself Fish?
