We are looking extremely healthy at the moment, 9 wins on the bounce meshing we are now 9-3 after starting 0-3. DeShaun Watson / DeAndre Hopkins and Lemar Millar looking very good and our usual solid defence. Nice to keep a fit squad (touch wood) 6-6 for my lot. Looked promising first few weeks. Few key players injured, now we look ver ordinary. Struggled to win yesterday against a very poor Buffalo side. Patriots up next, gotta win if we want to make a playoff push. let's go Dolphins.

Hmmm, time to declare my allegiance & dodge the brickbats, I think. I'm a Patriots fan. But before I get the glory-hunter pelters, I've been a Pats fan since 1979 when they were ok, but certainly not the team they have been in the last decade or so. Should sound familiar to Stoke fans!
I watch most Pats games & a few neutral ones. What astonishes me year after year is that the Pats aren't that great in any department - most years there are even better quarterbacks around than Brady - but they just get the job done game after game. Maybe it's a consistency in most departments, no real weak areas - and the ability to work teams out as games progress. I dunno.
Games never seem won (or lost) for them until shortly before the final whistle so I watch lots of games through my fingers. Real nail biters.
I have no dislike of any other teams in our division. Or in the AFC as a whole. A few NFC teams I really don't like - particularly the Raiders, 49ers & Cowboys - but we've got to have our pantomime villains. Good luck to everyone (except when they're playing the Pats). I hope Brady & Gronk stay fit until the end of the season. I think this is their last & hope they get another Superbowl ring to wind their careers up with.

Every year I look at your team and think this is the end of your domination but like you say, you always find a way to win. I think a lot of it is like the old Man U effect where teams were beating themselves before a ball is kicked or in this case thrown. We are good at home v teams but away we don't seem to travel well (like Stoke)

Bengals crashed and burnt spectacularly. Absolutely terrible now. Possibly worst team in NFL.

Kansas City Chiefs for me - currently an all out attack team with a ho-hum defence. Hunt's going to be a big loss I think for the rest of this season and the foreseeable future but hopefully Mahomes, Kelce, Hill and the rest can keep racking up the points.

I've no idea what to do when my "local" team is really good. All the close games that the Rams were involved with have fallen their way, unlike my whole life following Stoke.
Their defence just couldn't handle the Saints but the Rams-Chiefs game was a cracker, third highest scoring in NFL history I think. Probably equivalent to something like 7-6 in footy.

Fucking take that New England. Owned again by the Dolphins at the Rock. What a move for the winning score. Two lateral passes and Drake dances to the end zone from 52 yards. Magic.

The coaching carousel has swung into life. Adam Gase has done well to get the Jets job having not done so great at Miami. Kliff Kingsbury aka Coach Cool has thrown a double six to get the Cardinals job having been sacked from Texas Tech. It pays to be a Quaterback Whisperer in the NFL today.
My money is on Steve Sarkisisian making it one day, unlucky to be sacked as Falcons OC.

I'm watching Chiefs v Colts on Skysports tonight Mendi (at a neighbours house - Rams fan !) - have you seen the conditions in Kansas City ? Blizzard conditions and most of the seats covered in snow. Colts are looking favourites according to some betting.
Goooaaaarrrrnnnn Chiefs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I'd be concerned about the Colts if I were a Chiefs fan especially after they shut out Dallas in a high pressure game then beat Tennessee. They can handle pressure, but can they do it on a snowy Saturday in Kansas City?

That aside, i would like to say the NFL's presentation of the pre game, TV coverage and camera angles are superb.

Chiefs and Rams both win.
Tonight has Chargers at Pats, and Eagles at Saints - I'm going for Pats (only just), and Saints.

Gutted the Chargers are out now especially to the Pats. Of the teams left hope the Saints do it as I’m a big fan of Brees. Anyone but New England.

I'm a Chiefs fan but it'll be tough against Brady and the Pats even at Arrowhead, but hoping the Chiefs win.. I reckon Saints to win the other game, but I think the Saints will win the Superbowl no matter if they play the Chiefs or the Pats.
Goooaaarrrnnn Chiefs !

Saints lead 13-10 at half time. Last minute touchdown by Gurley brings the Rams right back into the game.

Whole season down the drain cus one of 8,690 refs on the pitch can't call the most obvious foul in the history of American football

That no-call was incredible and changed the result. Pats unfortunately starting well and dominating possession - TD imminent ! Pats 7-0 after 8 minute drive. Chiefs not started well. Edit Wow - what an absolutely fantastic game ! What an end to the 4th quarter, that game had everything ! Couple of dodgy decisions in favour of the Patriots though ! Great effort by the Chiefs but the Pats win it in overtime to reach 3rd straight Superbowl Go Rams !!!!!!!

Good games with some poor refereeing! The OT rule should also change to a set time of play like extra-time. Whoever wins the toss in OT has a huge advantage.

As much as I hate Tom Brady, have to admit the guy is unbelievable and somehow the Patriots always find a way to win. Totally agree with the above message regarding o/t. I think both teams should have an opportunity whether it's a touchdown or not on the opening drive.

Whole season down the drain cus one of 8,690 refs on the pitch can't call the most obvious foul in the history of American football My theory is the NFL wanted the Rams in the Superbowl for business reasons. Stan Kronke did the NFL a favour by building a huge stadium for two teams (rumoured to be vastly over budget) and helping re-establish LA as an NFL TV market. In return, Kronke's Rams received a helping hand to keep the game alive. That was the worst call I've seen since last year's AFC Championship game when the Jaguars were robbed against the Patriots.
