When? The left hand side in general were like the Chuckle Brothers (Pieters was Barry (RIP)) compared to the right. I just thought there was a marked difference between the two sides. One side looked a threat, the other was amusing cos we won. Erik I kill all momentum Pieters was dreadful and needs replacing sooner rather than later He does. They both killed the play so often whereas I actually enjoyed watching Stoke attack in the second half when we had Diouf and Martina on our side. Clucas and Ince down the left when fit please.

Was it you having words with Erik in the first half when he was taking that throw in? Anyway watched that McClean cross yet? It was the one Diouf and Crouch got in one another's way.

No longer glad Stoke scored were you? His crossing today was very, very impressive and if you genuinely believe a cross is only made good if a goal comes of it, then that confirms you haven't got a fucking clue what you're on about He didn’t have one cross that found a Stoke player. That’s not impressive. No, finding your team mate is how to judge them or creating havoc (the second goal), his were neither. They are easy to defend. Hahaha you haven't got a fucking clue have you, if you don't think they were dangerous crosses you honestly don't have a clue Bayern. Letting your prejudice blind you, simple as.

I haven’t but can remember them pair doing that! For the amount of crosses he attempted, they were still shite!

He put in some great crosses from the left, you're chatting shit but I'll stick to the highlights and agree to disagree. I've never ever known you to admit you were wrong so I won't bother trying to convince you.

I don't know who it was or if he's on here but he was obviously giving Erik some right shit as he bit back a couple of times. I actually think you might see a better McClean with a better footballer (like Clucas) behind him at fullback. Just like Diouf looked almost like a right winger with Martina behind him.

Diouf is underrated for me and he should breeze this league so it wasn’t a surprise to see. Pieters deserved it too. Some of the passes he was messing up were just shocking. He was letting balls bounce where he should just clear them and was generally the weak link.

(I'll set em up ) The sooner Clucas is fit or Bauer finds some form and Martina can move to the left the better.

Berated him since Wednesday for being wank. He wasn't wank today, well done McLean. Score a goal like Walters against Chelsea and I might warm to you. Sadly all I remember about Walters vs Chelsea was a couple of own goals and a missed penalty. I remember a goal where he flicked it past their full back near the half way line and ran the remaining to score Please tell me I don't imagine it as I can't find a video!

Made a fool of the sideshow Bob Brazilian guy whose name escapes me. He also scored a good goal against Chelsea when Begovic was in goal for Chelsea, can't remember if it was the league of cup win? Back when Hughes was getting it right.

Sorry bayern, I usually back you to the hilt but I cannot agree with you on this one. Thought the man had a great game, beat his man whenever he was asked to and put balls into the box. You can say not one met a man but they caused fucking havoc and Hull couldn't clear the second ball, which was a result of McCleans original cross. He even got himself on the score sheet! I imagine I'll be back on your side this time tomorrow but I can't agree with you on this. Man of the match for me.

They easily cleared them, I just don’t think he was a danger and the left hand side was disappointing in comparison to the right. He also drifted inside way too much in the first half and left too much space down the flank but that didn’t cost us this time. He played much better but the left hand side in general needs revamping.

He did mate. Have a look at the highlights thread on here. There's at least one on there and it's only a 30 second clip. When? The left hand side in general were like the Chuckle Brothers (Pieters was Barry (RIP)) compared to the right. I just thought there was a marked difference between the two sides. One side looked a threat, the other was amusing cos we won. In the first half Diouf did next to nothing (much better second) so I'm not sure how you cay there was a massive difference in his favour.

You say they cleared them but we got a lot of attacking throw ins/corners for his effort. I think not giving him MOTM was a harsh decision, but opinions are opinions ey! Like I said, I don't usually diagree with your opinions so don't think I'm being a dick, I just think credit where credit is due for McClean today.

Bloke by me didn’t celebrate and then when I realised who it was I sat down. Better today but he still struggled with the basics. And this lots of crosses stuff is odd. There was lots of crosses. None went to a Stoke player. You sat down when you realised it was McClean?

We were pretty wank in the first half in general I thought? The second half was defined by the play that came down the right. It’s also the side I sit on so saw it all at close quarters. And I just enjoyed it. It was actually fun to watch them playing down that side. They were taking the piss at times and it was just thoroughly enjoyable to watch.

Have only read the odd comments on this thread.
I thought he was better, but still only average.
If Ince is fit I’d play him there and Diouf on the right.
And bench Pieters for a while.
