It will cost Rowett his job in the end Not sure it will as McLean was cheap, I said last season that Berahino would cost Hughes his job, but he cost double and has been doubly shit. the whole preston team cost 5 million he wasn't cheap at 6 million

Just shows where we have gone wrong.

(What are we atm for our first 18... about 70m-80m?)

He was bollocks again today. Diouf was loads better. The Oracke of nonsense strikes again. Diouf was a waste of space again, as he has been for the last 2 years Agreed, did nothing.

Diouf was a waste of space again, as he has been for the last 2 years Your view on Diouf could be correct in part, however it has to be said that even so he was still much better than McClean today and he has been much better than McClean for the last 4 seasons.

Is there still time to loan him out? I had sleepless nights when were thinking of signing him and now I have insomnia. Every post of mine about him has been negative based on he is completely shit. He adds nothing going forward at all and needs replacing. i suggested him at left back to actually utilize him but he is a waste of money and Rowett will suffer if he doesn't drop him out of sight. Should be used as a sub when were consolidating a win only. Choupo should be in Wednesday.

One good cross for Berahino today.
needs flogging for the following:
-no pace -eyes down at the floor when running -not being strong enough -not passing -running blindly into a tackle -not tracking back -not covering the extra man for their 2nd

Not a big fan but he's not the only one underperforming including the manager The managers decisions changed the game for us today, I wasn't particularly happy with it at the time but it worked and proved me wrong.

He's got to be better than this. It'd be harsh to drop him this early, but I'd be sorely, sorely tempted Ince played well when switched to the left. I'd keep him there and play Diouf right. McClean has very little end product in terms of passes/ crosses or shots on goal. Diouf never has been and never will be a right winger. Hughes played him wide, Lambert played him wide and now Rowett is trying the same thing. It won’t work. Classic definition of insanity: trying the same thing over and over, hoping for different result.

No it doesn’t. He shouldn’t be in the side ahead of Choupo. Mclean’s bothered, Cheapo isn’t. Don’t want players at Stole who don’t want to be there imo. I’m bothered too. So put me in.

Symptomatic of the club as whole. Rotten.

Is he one of Rowetts or one from the two plebs? He wasn't a regular for the Baggies, it was a strange signing all round.

Most people that can’t do nothing about it knew what we were getting with him before he signed, what kind of player he was. Yet the people who could have stopped this happening seem to have no clue how useless he has been in his career, so went and spent £6 million on him.
Any wonder why we are already struggling, and it’s only 3 games in.

To me he looks a really poor signing. We desperately need an injection of pace so to spend £6 million and considerable time/effort on signing a slow 29 yr old winger felt daft at the time and the early evidence suggests it was. That's not even counting all the baggage that he brings, whatever your thoughts on it.
I hope he ups his game and proves us wrong but he looks like yet another example of the abysmally bad recruitment policy that has blighted us over the last few seasons.

He was bollocks again today. Diouf was loads better. I'm not disagreeing about McClean today but Diouf did absolutely nothing. Diouf got back to prevent an almost certain goal. McLean was responsible for their second by going AWOL at the free kick, leaving their scorer completely unmarked. I’d like to see Ince at LW and Diouf at RW against Wigan, and McLean as far away from the stadium as possible.

West Brom certainly saw us coming - three times for fecks sake!
1st. Berahino. £16m plus £75k a week for 5 years. Hasn’t scored other than with a hooker for two years 2nd. Fletcher ok a free but expensive wages for a finished footballer 3rd. McClean. £6m and another high wage for 4 years. Crap and always has been
What have we done to WBA for them to offload their garbage on a fellow Midlands team.
We’ll be be taking Chadl next on loan with option to buy for £15m and pay him £50k a week to be permanently injured!
Couldn’t make it up.

Fletcher was an ever present for West Brom for the two Premier League seasons before he signed for us, so to say he wasn’t a regular would be about as inaccurate as you could get.....
