Crouch has been a fine servant of this club. His attitude never wavered. He may well be among the FINIEST servants overall.
I will always appreciate his time with this club.

And Barnes However they also have Europa League. Until next week when Aberdeen sneak a 1-0 win at Turf Moor...... You might be right but not many teams did that last year

Whoever sells Crouch deserves a house brick in his kisser. He will play a crucial role for us this season probably as a goal scoring sub.

We can only sell what people are willing to buy. We need to make room to bring others in. As much as I like Crouch he is old and many on here have complained he slows the team down.

We need to play to his strengths he’s never been a speedy player, amazing that we took both wingers off when he came off the bench yesterday Unless he’s desperate to leave , wants to remain in the Premiership and take a better wage then there are others who should move on first Not sure that a commute to Burnley would suit him

Quite right! I see Crouchie regularly during the course of my employment, he comes up from Euston before 8 every morning and goes back early afternoon! I will be amazed if he goes to Boro/Burnley or anywhere else north of Stoke! QPR or one of the lesser London clubs would not be a surprise!

Sell instantly. I would piss myself if that lot ended up with crouch having alrwady robbed them on deals for walters, kightly and bardsley. We are to burnley what spurs/wba are to us. We sell them our shit for stupid money. As an aside I've just had a message saying that burnley might have a europa league fixture on thursday 16th august and that my eldest boy will want to go so keep the day free. I responded to say that it is a qualifier to qualify for the europa league and if you can't beat a non league team to guarantee a fixture on 16th august then it is time to pack in. Come on the Dons

Crouch still has a role to play for us, as others have pointed out, especially over a 46-game season. I would rather Diouf or Berahino go, to make way for Vydra/Gayle/etc, but noone's going to buy either of them off us, are they? So selling Crouchie might be the only way to free up a wage and a squad slot.

There’s not a train from London to Burnley, no chance. As daft as it seems, that will probably mean it's an absolute no-go, you'd think? The journey from London goes from straightforward to a complete pain in the arse. And he'd only get the odd 10 minutes there anyway. Can't see him being interested at all

The journey from London goes from straightforward to a complete pain in the arse. Tell me about it. I make it regulary. London to preston is easy enough. Preston to burnley is a pain in the arse. Were he to make the move i suspect, were he to continue his current travel arrangements, that he'd leave a car at preston station and drive over daily from there.

We need to removing the shit off the wage bill, imbula, berahino, fletcher, affelley and continue with plan b crouch.
Desperately need another striker but getting rid of crouch who is our best back up is not the answer.
We getting sjw in return ?

Only if it's an exchange for a younger player with previous experience in the Championship? SJW? Seriously the likes of Diouf should be moving on before Crouch imo

Is this the "big" Nixon story?! Wow. Hang on its big news if your goal is sustainable takes inbound income past £20m and with Butlan and Badou to go , every chance we could finish the summer in profit with 10 days to go and a new patsy already getting fan stick , could be a brilliant simmer for sustainability , well run underlined , could even be another CEO award as best in EFL

He averaged about 6 goals a season. Not what you call prolific and should have gone a couple of seasons ago.
That said if we have no replacement then keep him, he all bag a few headers.

Make it £750K and include Diouf. 😀 Piza boys include sell on clauses. 🤪🤪
On a serious note 500k is a stupid price . For that he may as well stay here.
