I don't know whether this is a wind up or not but just been told by a Leeds supporting colleague who's tried to buy a home ticket that our game at Elland Road is Category A and £50 per ticket - surely that's not true. I've scoured the net and can't find anything.

After ten years in the Premiership we are now a category A team in the Championship. Bigger than those clubs who are bigger than us.

There’s a Leeds fan where I work too, he said the same. Expect around £50.00, and that’s if they don’t put the prices up which apparently they usually do. Welcome to the championship. How price caps havnt been made mandatory for the lower leagues when the top flight is capped at £30 I’ll never know, it’s a disgrace.

Them and Sheff Wed were the 2 dearest away days for championship clubs last season and I’m pretty sure they both charged around the high thirties/early forties for tickets

Also I don’t think any of our fans will have ever been down the side(next to the tunnel) where the away fans are now seated/stood at Elland Rd for a Stoke game

Leeds was £45 last season for away teams with a big following No doubt we will be doing the same Time for a thirty is plenty campaign for all games? And / or Why not promote a reciprocal ticket pricing that is more affordable for all fans?

I know this isn't going to be a popular point of view, but you have to realise that outside of the prem, a clubs income is much more reliant on match day revenue. There isn't a nice 200m pat cheque to collect for passing go. So if they can rinse the supporters they will.

If true a disgrace, but possibly shows we are respected.
SCFC should bite the bullet here and should say; " We wish to encompass the championship and involve ALL CLUBS supporters by offering a reciprocal fee to all other clubs in this division. As one of the instigators of the £30 max fee in the Prem lge for away fans we see no reason why this should not be extended to the Championship for the good not only of the loyal away fans but ultimately for the clubs involved but also football itself."

Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday rip off visiting fans something shocking. Expect to get clobbered with extortionate ticket prices at a few more grounds next season.

We should either take the moral high ground and charge no more than £30 or simply repay in kind and charge clubs fans exactly what they charge our away fans.

no problem just charge them more when they come Stoke What? I get it, we can give the difference that they pay back to supporters who travel on 5 August. FFS We should be entering in dialogue with clubs to have reciprocal pricing structures, those that don’t want to should be named and shamed.

Its not the opposition fans fault their clubs are rip off merchants. It is not the Leeds fans who set their prices for away fans - however it will only change if either - no away fans attend Elland Road or the Leeds fans start to protest to the Leeds board because they are being charged high reciprocal prices.

I suppose when the media rights money goes down from £100m minimum in the Prem to £6m average in the Championship all of a sudden gate receipts matter again to give you an edge.
