What shite. We can get rid of him today. It's got fuck all to do with Hughes. Who bought the pile of shit here ?, we can file him under Hughes fuck up signings there are quite a lot of them, we could of got rid though maybe he is here for target practice though with our strikers he will be safe. We can literally get rid of him today. If he stays beyond today that is not Mark Hughes' fault.

Very happy to see Telford offered a deal. Assuming he takes it, I think he could be a bit of a surprise package for us next season.

Hughes isn't at Stoke anymore. The club have the opportunity to get rid of him but they aren't. This decision has nothing to do with the ex manager, dumbo.

Haugaard contract extension? This suggests Grant as number 1 and him as back up??!?!? If so, we must pray for Lee Grant's health and fitness on a daily basis. My thoughts exactly if we have to rely on him we are in deep shit, another part of the Hughes legacy. We need three keepers

Don`t worry; Haugaard is not going to accept the contract offered. He want’s to go somewhere he’ll play every week. The Danish 3rd division ???

Surely it will be a new number 1, Grant as backup whilst he recovers from injury and Haugaard as 3?

Ireland would of been good in the championship deffo worth 12 month There is no way that Ireland would stay fit for 12 months. Why break the habit of a lifetime? Then there is the mater of whether he can be bothered.

So, did Rowett make that decision, or was it somebody else?

As far as the goalkeepers go I think we need an experienced first choice a john ruddy or dare I say it Scott Carson with a top youngster as backup who will come good in a few years time like when we bought a young butland. Jakob has only been offered a contract at the moment there's no guarantees he will accept it or if it's just a ploy to then get a fee for him as we appeared to do with Bardsley and to a point Walters.

How many people on here who have written off Haugaard as utter wank have watched him play any more than the handful of games he played back in 2016 when he was very raw and took a knock to his confidence?
Does he not deserve more of a chance?
Of course, if anyone who has seen more of him play asserts that he’s wank I’m happy to retract the above.

I wouldn’t trust Haugaard to keep a goldfish never mind keep goal.
He must be 4th choice next season (at best).

Haugaard Such a nice young man with a lovely smile and a kind heart. Cheap and cheerful. And a right wanker of a keeper. What a fekkin statement of intent

Not really sure why so many are bothered about Greenidge to be honest. Can’t see him being anything special from what I’ve seen. Haugard is a strange one, maybe Quy rates him but he’s not going to be more than a third choice keeper anyway so not that arsed. Jordan Greenidge? Too true. I think he peaked after that double century during the "Blackwash" tour in 1984.

Not seen Haugaard play for about a year so don't know if he has improved or not. Even his loan spell at Wigan was quite some time ago. He played for us at a time when our back four was in complete disarray and they gave him no protection at all, he made a couple of howlers and his confidence was destroyed. Unfortunately once you lose the confidence of the fans there is usually no way back, but even if he signs a new contract I don't expect him to play for us this season.

Haugaard? That's..er...odd. Reserve goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard is being offered fresh term Absolutely incredible from what I’ve seen he has been unbelievably poor. He must be the best trainer in football.🤔

Luis Da Silva released too, follow him on Insta, always seems to be away with the Portugal international setup. Take it he didn’t show enough whilst here. Seen to remember him chipping in with a fair few assists and goals from CB last season though. Really dont understand our Academy setup tbh. One Wilko in 20 odd years is horrendous let’s be honest. How much does it cost the club to run annually?
