Def a strange choice of fixture. & yeah may not be best type of preparation especially with a few thousand Wolves fans giving it large to their newly relegated neighbours!

To be honest I’d rather shit blood than watch home friendlies. I’d rather watch us play castle town for charity fund raising it would have more meaning and atmosphere

It certainly seems a strange choice of opponents, but I’ve heard before that friendlies are typically organised a year ahead of time. Maybe that was the case here.
I don’t agree with the comments saying we’ll get battered. Friendlies are never a good indication of team quality and we’ll be a week further into preparations that they will.

So a week further for our lot on last years showing is still six months behind 😉

I’d rather watch us play castle town for charity fund raising it would have more meaning and atmosphere we should arrange a friendly of oatcake XI vs "players and staff responsible for our relegation XI" That would have meaning and atmosphere

Just when we thought that those in charge couldn't piss us off anymore, they roll this out.

We have now got a different manager different backroom staff we will have a new team be one of the favourites for the league so it's time to stop thinking that every time we play we will lose when I saw this fixture i got exited thinking I'm going to SEE " MY TEAM PLAY GET BEHIND THEM AND ENJOY THE RIDE WITH PRIDE "

What a shit friendly. 4000 dingle wankers stood rubbing our faces in the fact they’re in the prem and we aren’t. Dreadful game

Awful decision

Best thing we can do here, is cancel it.
Can't think of a worse friendly at a worse time.
I fully expect more Wolves fans than Stoke.
The 'fitness' benefits will be dwarfed, by the complete and utter pisstaking humiliation from the dirty orange, sister shagging, brick throwing shithouses.

Looking for cheap flights to the Costa 21st-28th July. I don't even mind if the mother-in-law tags along.

We take it on the chin, play the game, see where we are at and move on. None of this running away bollocks. If they take the piss, so be it; our time will come.

Scholesy said there was no disconnect between the club and fans.
"Clearly".
Awful fixture.
