I would love to see Bojan in a Stoke shirt again, that first spell before injury was something else, he was pretty poor afterwards to be fair but he deserves another chance.

Whoever the manager is, get him back & build the attack around him. Him behind Gayle in a 4231 and we're rocking.

I fear he will never be the same player he was and it would be foolish for any manager to plan to build our team around him but he is under contract for another 2 years so I think we should get him back and see how it goes.

I think the club would be foolish to just let him go to the highest bidder. He must be worth at least another chance of proving himself in the Championship. You never know he could be our Juninho, who he reminds me of. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juninho_Paulista

I want to spoon him under a thick eiderdown duvet.
I will have a jumper on but will be naked from the waist down.
We'll get a cat together and call it Martin.

I'll take a contrarian view, I don't want him back.
He can't do it at Mainz or Alvase so why do people think he's all of a sudden going to become our saviour?
Hopefully his issues get resolved but we need to move on.

Good grief, that explains a lot! I'd have him back playing behind a striker, but one bigger than Gayle! Someone with more physicality and pace. Easier said than done of course. Bojan is still our player and I'd guarantee he'd score ten goals at least as our number 10. I can but dream.

Regardless of what people think he played like after his injury, I'd let half the squad go at least before I even consider letting him leave.

Bojan is still our player and I'd guarantee he'd score ten goals at least as our number 10. I can but dream. Agreed. I'm certainly no expert in Psychology or Psychiatry but that article might explain why the Bojan after his knee operation was so different to the one we were starting to see in the games up to his injury at Rochdale. The pre-injury Bojan was starting to look like one of the best players we have had at Stoke in my (very long) lifetime. I was puzzled at how the Bojan who returned from injury seemed to have lost the spark which made him tick. It didn't seem to be a physical thing to me and that article suggests that the demons in his head from his early days in the game may have returned during the long, lonely, months of post injury rehabilitation. If he can talk so openly about it now than there has to be a chance that he can put his problems behind him. I hope Stoke can give him the chance to prove himself again - always assuming that he wants to stay with us.

May explain a lot about his form. Feel really sorry for him. That level of anxiety manifesting itself with such strong physical symptoms is hard to overcome. Good luck to him in managing it.

It makes me sad how he looks so happy after the Rochdale goal (like he does after every goal he scored) knowing what comes next.
Get him back and give him another chance. The is absolutely nothing to lose.

Is he the most lovable footballer of all time?
Get him back. He would light up the Championship and rebuild his confidence at the same time.
