Great article, tinged with sadness. I would love to see him back next season.

I’d have him back in a heartbeat and that article must have been difficult for him.
Bravo 👏

As someone who has suffered with Anxiety in the past, I could understand what he's going through.
It may not merely be the case he struggled at two loan spells, there are a number of different factors that go into play.

Bloody hell that run against spurs, if only we'd got somebody who could take the ball that far up the bloody pitch

The bottom line is, he is still contracted to Stoke, we are waiting for a new manager. He will have Imbula back, maybe Muniesa, Josh Tyman, etc etc.He will decide who is needed for the Championship, if experienced enough.

After this article, if he has the desire to come back, we should welcome him with open arms and give him as much support as possible. We may then see the player we all know is lurking in there.
Still the best goalscorer we have on the books.
Bring him home

People saying he won’t hack the physicality of the Championship.
If he’s prepared to take some knocks I think he’ll be ok, his intelligence and talent will keep him a yard away from most of the players in the Championship.
I do think we need to decide if he’s staying and just build a team around him.
Hopefully he will feel the love when he returns.

With all the 'Lame Ducks' we've had over the years and recently Berahino, why can't we give the lad another go. He has/had a raw talent on the ball and if that could be restored he could be a real asset.

If he has depression/anxiety, he needs a good psychiatrist/psychologist, not a manager putting his arm round the lad. If he can get over his demons he may well come good. Maybe his problem wasn’t his knee after all...

Wonderful, wonderful player, the most naturally gifted I’ve seen in a Stoke shirt since Alan Hudson.
Bring him home, give him unconditional love, be patient until he regains his football animal and let nature take its course.
He’s just a joy to watch

All recycled 'old' news that did the rounds a couple of years or so ago. If Bojan can toughen up a little and get a bit more weight into his game he could be really good for us next season. I would love to see him back, playing well and developing to become a key player at the club Bojan definitely gets my vote

Ditto Tom Cairney who was arguable player of the league last couple of years. Whilst taller in stature I wouldn’t say they’re a much in it.

Lambert missed a trick by not recalling him, and at least having a look at him. When you look back to the dross we ended up with on the bench for the last dozen matches, surely the little Spaniard would have given us an attacking threat?

He did, would've got a lot of fans onside too. Probably more complicated than we think tho.

If we build a team of cloggers then it can fuck off. Now who's a troll? You are talking about Stoke City, the club that built its PL existence on the ability to "clog"...

Maybe his problem wasn’t his knee after all... If you had bothered to actually read the article, it is clearly stated "The anxiety attacks that denied him a piece of history with Spain have been overcome." This refers to a time way before he even joined Stoke.

And got relegated with its attempts to revert to 'clogging'. If only we had we would have survived, while alienating a large portion of the fanbase. You did watch Lambert's games didn't you? That's what clogging gives you. Boring, shite football, no ambition and often no results. But sure, let's go into the Championship as the richest club in the league, with (what seems like we'll have) the best back 4 in the league, one of the biggest ST sales in the league, the PL parachute payments, and lets hoof our way to 12th. Fuck that off, we should be doing everything in our power to do a Wolves and demolish that league. Players like Bojan (see Grealish, Maddison, Cairney et al.) at the players who win you games in the Championship, and indeed in any league. Players with pace, creativity and flair are the ones who win things up top. I'm all for having strong players and a strong spine, but to think we only need 11 players with strength and no skill or flair is just ridiculous, and symptomatic of a huge problem with attitude in football outside the top 4 of the PL.

That’s my opinion, I think you need to revise the description of a troll. I don’t wish for us to become a team of cloggers. That’s an opinion on a style of football that I hope we’ve moved away from. Who am I trolling exactly?

We’ve nothing to lose by trying to get him into the side. There’s a few light weight players doing a good job in that league.
