If he works his bollocks off and better still, scores the winner for us tomorrow, the fact he's spent two seconds of his life to 'like' a tweet by a mate shouldn't even be registering with us.

He's a fellow Swiss international, that's all...

Not a big deal for me, Florent Hadergjonaj is Swiss and they are friends.
Arnatuvic wrote something like Congratulations Bro for Ramadan after he scored against Udders, and it was OK for West Ham fans.

It's the cosmopolitan world of football. But still, we're fighting for our lives and with a moments thought, he'd realise this would annoy most fans. Huddersfield were in danger and have moved away so he should be sensitive to his supporters and employers a little bit IMO. Yeah in the grand scheme little impact but hey ho!

It’s his international teammate... grow up. I get it’s his international team mate and it’s just an innocent interaction, but it’s not the smartest idea given our current situation. It really shouldn’t matter, but it kind of sums up the “couldn’t give a fuck” attitude that a good chunk of our current squad seem to posses.

It’s his international teammate... grow up. Did you extend the same leniency to wimmer after the spurs defeat? A result that pretty much condemned us to relegation and one of our players likes it. I'm not sure its me that needs to grow up to be honest. Maybe shaqiri needs to grow a brain cell.

Not very savvy but they are good mates. Shaqiri was in Leeds having a meal with Hadergjonaj a few weeks ago.

It’s modern day footballers... would’ve it had been the same In the 70’s, 80’s if they would’ve had social media? If your mate at work won a game of football or scored would you like his post on Facebook or congratulate him? It’s just childish behaviour from a few on here. .

I think its fair to say that I'm a terrible loser at anything and there is no way on gods earth I would congratulate someone on achieving something at my expense. Couldn't shaqiri have rung his great mate in private?

I think its pretty innocent. As above its his mate....... Shaq just hadn't thought what the fans would think and to me that speaks volumes about how detached the modern footballer is from the fan base.

Who cares? If he starts posting pictures of himself wiping his arse on the club badge then fine but this is nothing to get worked up about.

I think it suns up where we are when the results of another club are so important to us...ultimately it is OUR results that count(ed)

It needs some diplomacy here....If he really wants to "LIKE" a post from an international team mate, then why not text him privately and congratulating him instead of "liking" it on instagram or twater for everyone to see???
We're in a shit predicament, and the last thing we need is one of our own players publicly "liking" an international team mate's post for winning.....especially as he's from another relegation rival club!!!

Shaq should never have sold Arnie in the summer and his transfers over the last two years have condemned us.

Imagine being annoyed by this. Some football fans are a bunch of absolute weirdos Am a bit confused. You kinda want your players 100% committed to the cause. Every football fan 100% supports his own team and generally hates everything to do with other clubs even more so when relegation rivals. This is pretty minor but just goes to show we've got players who don't really care that much. He's just liked a post where a direct rival have won and pulled away from us, international teammate or not...

Does him liking his teammates picture detract in any way whatsoever from our cause? Does it mean he'll play worse? Does it mean Huddersfield will play better? It's a like on a bloody picture. It's not even worth discussion at all.
