For some reason I have a feeling this kid will play a crucial role in our survival.

He's repeated the "great pace" line. Are we sure he knows who he is? He looked rapid on Monday when he made that cross field run. I think Lambert's been having him sprinting down the straight at Northwood Stadium...... I agree. That diagonal run (which was about all he saw of the ball in the minute or so he was on the pitch) did look quite rapid compared to what we have seen from him in the past. Whether he has actually gained any fitness/pace in the past few weeks or he gave it some wellie because he was only on the pitch for a couple of minutes only time will tell. Still, the fact that his manager, after telling him he needed to work harder, is now bigging him up, does at least suggest he may get a game on Saturday. Him starting, with Choupo on the bench, would be my hope.

In my opinion Lambert is doing himself no favours with comments like this, looked good for the minute or two he was in the pitch, was it his hairstyle that impressed him, ffs. Compared to some in the squad he may have great pace, but seriously, great pace!!!

I thought Ramadan played for just 5 minutes where Man City was passing the ball between defenders and midfielders, he touched the ball once, yes he succeeded to pass a player and play it forward but is this enough to say he did well, it is weird !!.
Ramadan is not slow and he is not fast, this is not his strong point, he has skills to pass defenders even if they are faster than him, he can make perfect assists, he is strong physically with or without the ball, but to leave these points and talk about his pace is also weird.

He is one of the eleven best players at the club and He should be playing
When we have been abysmal ...hammering at spurs, where even PC questioned the attitude of every player except ramadan ...coventry 2 stoke 1
Ramadan has been our only player to keep going
It's a cliche in footie management that you find out the most about your players attitude, When you are getting hammered. Probably because thats actually true.
He is a decent player who deserves a break

I still haven't quite worked out how he can bang in a couple of goals and get dropped
Must be a stoke thing?

Maybe it was what he did off the ball that he was happy with, apparently this is why Lambert hasn't been playing him according to a few people, the pace comment is a strange one mind but maybe he's comparing him to Crouch

He's repeated the "great pace" line. Are we sure he knows who he is? He came on in about the 85th minute and only touched the ball once as I recall. Lambert is a shit manager and he's full of shit as well.

Ramadan has natural ability and puts in effort. We should be playing him from the start. I honestly think him and Shaqiri could save us, given the chance.

Maybe the players have had a race and Ramadan finished second behind the one and only Moritz Bauer, who by the way is lighting fast (in our squad). With Diouf injured and Shaquiri celebrating after just running to the first cone and forgetting to run back... He is indeed rapid. I've heard that Lambert also considers Zouma to have incredibly good distribution after his successful pass to another Stoke player in his last few games.

Lambert wittering on about Ramadan's pace is strange. He sounds like a frying pan salesman who's decided the frying pan's main selling point is that you can put it on your head in the rain to keep dry.

Brilliant analogy , lambert already gibbering nonsense as he loses his way by the day , if those are right on other threads perhaps big Sam will be available again in the summer .
