I knew you'd like that. What a complete load of bullshit. He isn't featuring because he wants more from him defensively yet his willingness to defend has arguably been his best attribute. It is also exposed as absolute bullshit by the fact that choupo has featured in the position he would probably play in and he has practically zero defensive qualities. Finally he says Ramadan is lightening quick which we all know is complete and utter bollocks...his lack of any pace whatsoever being his biggest weakness. All in all, I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that Lambert doesn't know his arse from his elbow. We found ourselves in a position where it was stick or twist. We absolutely should have stuck. From what I’ve seen Ramadan is pretty good at tracking back, a lot more so than Choupo or Jesé. I’ve got no idea what Lambert is on about here. Spot on. God knows what he watches Rapper Man doing defensively or offensively come to that.

Paul Lambert = Mark Hughes with a fitness coach! Very worrying comments from him, what can Choppy do that Ramadan can't? Finish better. Sobhi's goals have both been tap-ins effectively. He shows a reluctance to shoot and is more likely to try and beat his man again than put a cross in. There's a player in there to be sure but I can see why Lambert might not want to pin his hopes on him as we battle relegation. However, his assessment of Ramadan is beyond embarrassing.

Jimmy his goals may be tap in's but at least hes in the right place to score, choupo cant even get into the right places or make the right runs.

Yes he can finish better but unfortunately it's very few and far between, I like both players but Choppa is just so inconsistent and his lack of desire to track back at times is so frustrating! I just can't see why Ramadan has been thrown to the wilderness and not been given a chance!

It's not really the point I'm making, Gifty. I realise Choupo is Public Enemy number 1 at the moment but he's more of a realistic goal threat and offers a very different outlet. But...Ramadan needs to be on the bench at least.

But he offers, to put it bluntly, absolutely fucking nothing.

Two of the best players I have ever seen scored most of their goals as Tap Ins Law and Greaves. As has already been said “Firstly you have to be in the right place at the right time” For me Ramadan should have been starting all season. Hughes never gave him a fair chance to develop and improve.

Jese needs to play for sure and then it's a choice between a rock and a hard place really. This is why we're probably going down.

Lambert has just announced his reason for not playing Ramadan and it's to do with his lack of awareness off the ball and where he wants him to be. He is in his plans for the M.City game!

Oh what a surprise. Out of all teams, when he has and i quote 'lack of awareness' - Lambert wants him to play against Man city Jesus wept. Reminds me of Mark Hughes and Tom edwards

This is just another classic case of a player who is not playing being the answer to all our prayers.
It's a merry-go-round....except for its not very merry!

I think Ramadan is very skillful on the ball, but his decision making is really questionable at times. He often gets into good positions with the ball, but the end product too often lacks. I actually thought he was picking up a bit in the last games he played under LMH, but Lambert doesn't seem to be too impressed. Anyway I was a bit surprised about the comment of Ramadan not tracking back as he is many times better than Chapou at this part of the game. I guess we will see more of Ramadan in our last 9 games as I think Chapou will be played as our main striker now. Anyway I think Ramadan needs to start getting more crosses into the box to up his game and to become less predictable.

He has generally been at a better level than anything we have seen from Cheap no motion recently , my main issue with him has been his lack of end product but he had improved that slightly especially with his goal at Huddersfield , he usually helps out well defensively . Given our current options and Cheap's recent form seems daft to discard him to me .

Seems so, strange that the board were impressed with his knowledge of our squad when he was interviewed for the managers position , could it have been they were impressed that he would accept any old shit from them and work for peanuts.

Literally is this. Will be interesting to see if he is in the squad tonight, considering choupo has been absolutely shocking since Christmas.

Lambert seems to be throwing shit against the wall and hoping something sticks.
Tried Berahino and then dropped without a trace. Same with Campbell, now Ramadan.
Doesn't feel very methodical.

Are we sure he knows who he is?

He's repeated the "great pace" line. Are we sure he knows who he is? He looked rapid on Monday when he made that cross field run. I think Lambert's been having him sprinting down the straight at Northwood Stadium......
