Can`t for the life of me understand this Ramadan love-in ? Has repeatedly failed to take his chance whenever offered to him. He may well be the best left sided `attacking` player we`ve got but he`s still woefully short of being good enough to be a regular starter in the first team. If the truth be known, all of our forward players apart from Shaqiri are not up to the standards required of a premiership footballer in 2018. I`m not one to dismiss his longer term prospects of making it in the UK entirely and, with more experience and a following wind, he may eventually turn out to be a good player, most likely at championship level. Whether he is up to standard is irrelevant when he is better than the others. I happen to think he is good enough by the way.

I like Ramadan but I would hardly describe him as lighting quick. Hes very good defensively as well. Bizarre from Lambert.

He worries me the more I hear from him. I knew you'd like that. What a complete load of bullshit. He isn't featuring because he wants more from him defensively yet his willingness to defend has arguably been his best attribute. It is also exposed as absolute bullshit by the fact that choupo has featured in the position he would probably play in and he has practically zero defensive qualities. Finally he says Ramadan is lightening quick which we all know is complete and utter bollocks...his lack of any pace whatsoever being his biggest weakness. All in all, I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that Lambert doesn't know his arse from his elbow. We found ourselves in a position where it was stick or twist. We absolutely should have stuck.

"lightning quick"
Jeez. Has Lambo been on the Irn Bru?
The best part of Ramadan's game is off the ball.
Some of the stuff he comes out with I do find a bit odd

I'm really not sure what Lambert is talking about here. It is very worrying to say the least.

Maybe Lambert's tactics are more complicated than we're seeing, by "off the ball" maybe he doesn't just mean get back and help your fullback
That's how i'll choose to look at it anyway, because Choupo isn't doing much of anything at the moment

Perplexing to say the least, Hughes came out with some dribble too but this is just patently nonsense.
Lamberts statements on Berahino and now Ramadan don't instil confidence

My only issue I have with Lambert's assessment of Ramadan, is that he has zero awareness when he's on the ball as well when he's not on it.

Now I love Ramadan but he absolutely isn't quick. What the hell he says about Ramadan defensively is an absolute pile of steaming shit. Basically, the fact he impressed with his knowledge of the squad during his interview must be pretty damning on the other interviewees. He knows nothing about them judging by his comments so far.

Lambert.....get real and put this lad in the team, he offers much more than some of the forwards you are picking, so get your finger out and let's see him on Monday instead of Super Motel or Jessie!

Stoke managers must watch replays in slow motion so when they see them in training they look really fast. Mark Hughes described Wimmer as quick when we signed him! 😂😂

The owners and executive management team.
They hired Hughes. They sacked Hughes far too late (opinion). They appointed Lambert. They didn't bring in a forward that this team desperately needed in January.
They are 100% to blame.
The rest is just circumstantial noise.

Another desperate cheap option from the board, you just know they will keep Lambert on next season and sell whatever playing assets we have off on the cheap. It's a massive fuckin self inflicted pile of incompetence from all at the club.
