Great to see a team defending properly once again and we could of nicked it. Still all to play for, West Ham back in it, Udders back in it, Saints still in it, Palace still in it. Need to beat Everton, Palace at home...........City till I Die.

We couldn't keep the ball for shit thats the problem. We don't score when Shaq doesn't pull something out of his arse from nowhere.
They deserved to have won that, 100%. We're scared to attack and it shows.

Very lucky point in the end.
We didn't lay a glove on a shambolic side with one win in 16.
The point keeps us in with a shout, but I thought it was a dispiritingly poor display

Well I only listened to it on the radio but we sounded awful, and lucky have to have got the point.

Where there's life there's hope. We're better than we were under Hughes and that's something.

Disagree. With our goal difference we need to get points ahead of the other teams which requires wins not draws. Today we needed to win both to boost our points total and knock down one of our rivals. To stay up we need to take these opportunities and we failed. Again.

Need to beat Everton, Palace at home...........City till I Die. Love the optimism, but in what way could we ever have nicked it? I don’t think we had a single, decent attempt throughout the entire 90 minutes, did we? Kudos to Lambert for shoring up the defense, but that’s not going to be enough to save us. We look completely devoid of ideas once we leave our own penalty box, and that performance showed absolutely no signs of improvement in terms of goal threat. We have no viable options on the bench who can change a game, and Lambert’s substitutions are on a par with the previous managers bizarre decisions. I hope to god I’m wrong, but we look absolutely dead and buried.

It was a very lucky point.
Southampton absolutely hammered us and but for some shocking headers/shots and excellent goalkeeping we would have lost by a margin.
That was as bad as I’ve seen Stoke play for a while in a ‘cup final’.
If people think we have solidified that defence they’re in la la land. The next 4 games will show just how shit it still is.

We were utterly abysmal and very lucky to come away with a point.
You've probably just seen the two sides that are going down with West Brom.
Really we don't deserve to stay up do we? We're just rubbish.

No matter how poor, we gotta keep believing until the fat bird clears her throat...

It was essential not to lose today. This looked like their most winnable game in their run in amd they now have 4 aways and a cup quarter final followed by a home game against Chelsea. A very good point. On to damage limitation a week Monday.

In normal circumstances, like the Leicester game, it would be a good point. However, the position that we are in we need to get wins. We are getting to the stage now where we are going to have to try and get something against the top teams to be in with a chance.

And Wigan and Leicester after a horrendous run of fixtures on paper. But let’s be frank we need to put two wins together and soon, Everton is the only one you can see us winning from the next few. But Swansea have proven momentum is massive......

What an embarrassingly ludicrous reply, unless you're being pathetically pedantic. "Worth", as a concept, is flexible and abstract; not concrete. Not all points are of equal value, as it depends entirely on how it will affect your standing in relation to other teams. "Relative to our needs and requirements in dragging ourselves out of the mire, looking at the teams and their positions around us, as well as our upcoming fixtures and the opportunity to deny a relegation rival their point; our point from today is pretty much worthless".

Forget get this 'Must win game' bollox, I believe if we can beat Everton and Palace at home, we'll stay up. Need to start with Jese at home.......Saints shit it when he started running at their centre backs, he's got a trick too which is what you need to win games, no other striker we've got has.
