Mexico is a good team, they dont have big names but they play well as an organized team. They have too many travelling fans, for the first game they are buying Germany tickets because they have bought all Mexico tickets. I didnt watch the European qualification for WC, I know Sweden did very well there, if they can knock Italy and Netherlands out so they can knock Mexico out, but it doesnt work all the time. Mexico lost to Denmark 2-0 few days ago which is very bad result for them before the competition, even Germany won only 2-1 against Saudi and Germany looked very poor. My prediction for this group: Germany 80% Mexico 55% Sweden 45% Korea 20% You are underrating Sweden somewhat. Giving Mexico 55 and Sweden 45 means they have very similar possibilities.

Banking on England winning the group to avoid Germany in the quarters? Admire your confidence, sir. (Also, I reckon it'll be Colombia not Japan in the second round, according to my predictions wall chart. Love the world cup, 1 more day to go!) I had us topping the group but only on GD. Belgium and England on 7 points each. We'd have to go to town on one of them and we don't have the players to do that.

Tunisia have been impressive in their warm up games doc. Drew against Portugal, narrow loss against spain. You know them more than others on here. What do england need to worry about when they play tunisia? They are pure Tony Pulis team (defensive team + counter attacks), they are in the same level as "Egypt without Salah", our games with them are derbies so it doesnt depend on the quality of players, who stay calm the whole game wins, we played against them recently twice ended with 1-0 and 0-1. Individually they are not good enough, but as a team they can make troubles for any big team because of their organized defensive style of play. Most of their players are playing for Esperance and Etolie Du Sahel (Local Tunisian teams), both of them were knocked out by Al Ahly Egypt in the last African CL, one of the games ended with 6-2 for Al Ahly. 2 of their best players are playing in the Egyptian League (RB and LB), both of them are great in counter attacks (especially Maaloul LB who was linked with Watford recently) , very fast, but they are poor defensively. All their GKs are disasters. Check this video for their goalkeepers mistakes: 10, 8, 5, 3, 1 goals are for Ayman Al Matholothi, their number 1 keeper. 2 of their best players are injured (Al Mesakni + Khenissi). I watched their friendly games, they looked great but in the World Cup they cant make the same performance because Belgium or England on gear 4 are much better than Spain on gear 1. From this group I wish Tunisia and England to qualify, I predict Belgium and England to qualify, even if Tunisia got a draw from their 1st 2 games, the last game will be Belgium vs England with one of them already qualified resting their players and the opponent will qualify comfortably. At the end it is World Cup, did any one predict Costa Rica to lead a WC group including Italy, England and Uruguay. They could easily give England a lot of problems.england don't know how to break down a team that defends in numbers. For a start, we just don't shoot. It's simple really, we need to test Tunisia's dodgy keeper from what you say. Really hope Egypt get through their group mate. I think they are very capable of getting a result against Uruguay

I think Tunisia will end up with good performance and to be knocked out from the group stage. Uruguay have very good players Suarez, Cavani, Godin, Geminiz ... etc., Without Salah a draw will be perfect for us, Mostly Uruguay games are bonus for the other 3 teams. I wish we can beat Russia and Saudi, we are a better team but we are a poor country full of corrupts so any thing may happen, we may sell the game for them, Uruguay may play with their 2nd team in the last game against Russia to qualify together.

It will be a good test of the new mindset Southo is trying to develop. Can our players work a problem out? Much comes down to being head ready. For example, Rashfy's goal v Costa Rica was bloody marvellous. The kind of brilliance that 'makes the difference '. So if Monday is tense will he be able to pull on of them out? These are the aspects that distinguish good players and true greats.

I like how we defended against Germany, brazil, italy and Holland. Although we only won 1 and drew the others, we could have won them all, and all were quite competitive games. I think we are going to struggle to break down panama and Tunisia. We should have taken a different type of striker. I might be laughed at but an andy carroll would have been useful in the first couple of games

KSA is a derby, we will never win with this score. KSA is a poor team but not that poor, they was destroyed psychologically after their friendlies, they lost to germany 2-1 and Italy 2-1 too, so they thought they will win the world cup, too much pressure on the players who are average players. Russia is not a good team, our game against them will be very important, I will be in the stadium, at least 30 K Egyptians are travelling.
