I'm GUTTED I'm working for the Russia v Saudi Arabia game, a festival of football I shall be missing for sure. Steward or programme seller ? With his name I reckon he's in charge of the coup

As much as humanely possible. Can't beat it when there's back to back matches on.

So who's idea was it to merge the "world cup watching" thread with this one? Those posts now make literally no sense at all on this thread

who here is going to be like me and try and watch every World Cup game that they are in for? I think it’s bad that I’m hyped to watch Russia vs Saudi Arabia. And who won’t reallt watch much World Cup at all. How much will everyone watch? Me. In the pub. With beer. And an occasional helping of Mexican food. Saturday will be large four games. Monday has to be cautious because England kick off last and I need to have my shit together for that. It's a minefield out there.

Hazard predicted England to qualify for the final and lose to Belgium Myself predicted Sweden vs Brazil for the final, just like 60 years ago, until: 1) I saw the picked squad list Just 4 forwards out of 23 players in the list. And John Guidetti (remember him anyone?) is supposed to be our hero and saviour in this World Cup in Russia ... The star. 2) I saw them play vs Denmark and Peru It was just like watching Stoke in the relegation battle in April.

Mexico is a good team, they dont have big names but they play well as an organized team. They have too many travelling fans, for the first game they are buying Germany tickets because they have bought all Mexico tickets. I didnt watch the European qualification for WC, I know Sweden did very well there, if they can knock Italy and Netherlands out so they can knock Mexico out, but it doesnt work all the time. Mexico lost to Denmark 2-0 few days ago which is very bad result for them before the competition, even Germany won only 2-1 against Saudi and Germany looked very poor. My prediction for this group: Germany 80% Mexico 55% Sweden 45% Korea 20%

My prediction for this group: Germany 80% Mexico 55% Sweden 45% Korea 20% Many games in the beginning of the World Cup usually are draws. I think the very first game in this group: Sweden-South Korea, is the crucial one. If it's a draw ... then ...

Banking on England winning the group to avoid Germany in the quarters? Admire your confidence, sir. (Also, I reckon it'll be Colombia not Japan in the second round, according to my predictions wall chart. Love the world cup, 1 more day to go!)

If we don't get Germany it'll be Brazil so we'll be gone either way.😢. BUT if if we face Colombia second round we will be knocked out anyway.

I think we could beat Colombia (if we get our of the group!) For the quarters I've got: Portugal V Argentina Germany v England France v Spain Brazil v Belgium Semis Portugal v Germany France v Brazil Final Brazil v Germany Winner - Brazil

Love these keeper training videos. Butland > Pickford Pickford's handling is utter wank and he struggles with his body shape when catching. If he's worth £30m then I reckon I'd go for at least the price of a 2014 Skoda Octavia (despite not having played 11-aside for about 10 years).

Belgium and England on 7 points each.
