Choupo should be nowhere near the pitch next game.
Bring on ramadan instead

The prospects for this game are bleak and yet this is one people are talking about us having to get something from. Just now there looks to be more chance of us fluking something against one of the big boys who are being distracted by the CL.

I feel really sorry for those going to this one. Leicester's a good away day, but it's going to be ugly.

I cannot see us getting anything at Leicester. we never did fuck all at filbert street or king power butjust because we may lose IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE ARE RELEGATED!! better to be in the bottom 3 now with a chance to fight out of it than to be 16th then drop into it on the last day

We need to be deep, narrow and strong defensively, use the driving force of Badou and balls over the top to get the ball forward. Can you re-read this statement? Badou is going to drive forward to whom? And balls over the top? To whom?? To give it to Shaq or whoever else can create. Diouf probably. Choupo does it sometimes too.

They were absolutely played off the park first half, they made a comeback in the second half but Stoke held on for the win.
I ain't been to the King power yet so I might make it a day out this time. Cant see Stoke coping with the dynamic duo or that other winger. Whats-his-face ?

Who the Ref? We would stand a chance with Butland Shawcross Zouma Bauer Cameron Badou Bruno Pieters Diouf shaqiri Campbell jese. Lol I'm not sure we can even win with 12 on the pitch

Leicester are weak at defending set pieces so I think it is quite likely that he will start with Crouch. He caused them a lot of problems in the game earlier this season.

Lol I'm not sure we can even win with 12 on the pitch Diouf would be needed for his defensive duties on the wing. I think I would play this 12 in training and look to drop shaqiri or not introduce Campbell. Clean sheet is priority. Sounded like you were recommending fielding 12 players in your previous post......... which may just work if the ref and the opponents don't notice More seriously I'd agree about the clean sheet and unfortunately, I reckon, we also need a win...............which however unlikely it seems, given our terrible form ( i.e. failing to beat Watford and Brighton at home ) is seeming more and more to be our only salvation.

Makes me laugh when fans expect something from this game when we fail to win to easier fixtures at home, and 1 other away.. After only getting 2 points from the last 3 games against teams we should at least got 5 points minimum from.. On paper the players we have should at least be above relegation zone.. but we aint playing as a team, we are all individuals and im afraid our time in the big league is up.. i watched us against Huddersfield and i thought thats it what a change, then the next three games bar 30’odd minutes at Bournemouth we went back to the same shit no pressure/fight.. theres no leadership and no passion we deserve everything thats coming im afraid

If we lose Southampton will be the last chance saloon.
Therefore Lester should be the penultimate chance saloon.

Adam and Fletcher are nailed on to start as is Diouf. Lambert sees experience in the middle of the pitch and Dioufs running up front as the way to go.

Narrow defeat at Leicester & then complete collapse at Southampton thats how i see it the footballing gods have decided our time is up. Are only hope is that Lambert has found some way of making us perform like Barcelona in this current break because lets face it we are very poor even when gifted a very soft penalty to win a crucial game we fuck it up. Lets hope i am wrong & lambert has found that formula.

I personally think we'll win.
Pressure is on big time, but I really think we'll get 3 points by hook or by crook, and if we can get a point away at Southampton, well, it'll start to look abit more doable.
I'm really glad to see Everton only playing well at home, so when they come to our place, we HAVE to win that home game as Man City will rinse us whether you're an optimist or not, they will beat us. It's a bonus game basically.
Arsenal away, well we've never ever got anything there, so another bonus game.
Spurs at home after, we just have to hope Harry Kane gets injured and the rest of them don't turn up!
Then the final 5 fixtures will be absolutely HUGE!!! If we have our heads above water at that point, then i'll be confident of staying up, but if we're down in the zone 2 - 3 points adrift of safety with games against the Snake & co, and Liverpool away. Could be tough
But whatever the weather, we simply HAVE to go into those final 5 games with a fighting chance.

Leicester are nothing special, we can win. We usually have a good match with Leicester. Hopefully Vardy sees red again too. These next 2 games are the most important games we have had since we landed back in the Premier League though, for sure!

Leicester fan "in peace" here.
I wouldn't be too pessimistic about Saturday, we are frustratingly inconsistent at the moment and laughably bad at defending set pieces. However, it's not true to say Leicester have nothing to play for as 7th is quite likely to mean European football next season.
It's likely that we'll start with Mahrez, Gray or Diabate, Vardy and Ihenacho up front, which looks great on paper, but Vardy is the only one playing well consistently. If they click, I think we'll win easily, but that's a big "if". We're much more patient under Puel and pass it around much more, but I'd like to see us more direct against you. Always a good game anyway.
I hope your form turns around after Saturday - Leicester-Stoke was my first ever game as a kid, and there are at least 3 teams I'd rather go down.

We need to win one of the Leicester and Southampton away games. Given their respective league positions, it would be better for us if it was the Southampton game. Leicester will be a tough game, but we must work 'aaaard and make it difficult for their attacking talent to have space in which to work, and try to hit on the break when we can. I would snap your hand off for a point right now.
Anyone who does not think Tye Campbell needs to start has simply not been paying attention.
Butland
Bauer Shawcross Martins Indi Pieters
Cameron Allen Ndiaye
Shaqiri Campbell Jese
Subs: Grant, Zouma, Adam, Ramadan, Choupo, Diouf, Crouch

If you’re looking for a charitable 3 points we’re the team to play. Always seem to have unexpected defeats against teams in poor form. I still think we should have enough to win this but you certainly shouldn’t write it off

I disagree I think we have every chance of givng them a decent game but will in all probability still lose, this game is not in any way last chance saloon away at Southampton is far more important and depending on other results Everton at home really will be close to last chance saloon
