We could play 12 against 11 for all our remaining games,we will still go down, we are just not good enough.

We're still due some points off Leicester (2-2 draws), time we got them!

Doesn't matter whether it's Leicester or a n other we now have to win at least one game that would be a bit of a shock. Yes the Leicester game is probably one of our better opportunities but in reality it doesn't matter who its against. That's only half the job unfortunately we also need to beat the teams we should reasonably expect to and we're not even doing that.

I just cannot see us getting out of this mess now. We have blown far too many chances already. Nothing I've seen recently offers me the slightest bit of confidence. Even Brighton made us look poor in reality!

We keep saying this before every game don't we? I think we'd need wins at both Leicester and Soton to have a fighting chance, can't see it.

2pts would be good from the next 2 games, 3 or more would be a bonus. 1pt and it could still be possible, 0pts and the trap door starts to open

Even Brighton made us look poor in reality! Yup when they got the ball they looked like they knew exactly what they were meant to do, they have a method of play. We on the other hand look like we try to make it up on the hoof hence spend a lot of time dithering. Notice the reflection of how we play and how the club is run very fitting.

Saints is more important for me, but get a result of any kind here and it'll be a huge boost.

One thing we can learn from Leicester is that it is never too late to turn things round. Apologies for posting this for the 3rd time recently, but it is a fact 3 years ago Leicester were doomed to relegation by everyone including right through February and March. They didn't start winning matches till the 4th April: www.soccerstats.com/team.asp?league=england_2015&teamid=25This is not a fluke example, Wigan made a habit of it: www.soccerstats.com/team.asp?league=england_2012&teamid=16In 2010-11 they defeated us on the last day of the season to climb out of the relegation zone: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010%E2%80%9311_Wigan_Athletic_F.C._seasonWe need to get behind Lambert and the team. Even if we lose against Leicester it is not over till it is a statistical certainty. We need to stop heaping pressure on the club by saying we are doomed and the next game is a must win, when clearly it isn't , yet.

For me, if everyone is fit for the Leicester game, it has to be:
Butland
Bauer Shawcross Zouma Pieters
Cameron Allen
Shaq Badou Jese
Diouf
Subs: Grant, BMI, Stafylidis, Ireland, Ramadan, Crouch, Campbell
We needs legs against this Leicester team to compete. I don't want Fletcher, Adam, Berahino or Choupo anywhere near the team anymore. A combination of not being good enough and not being bothered enough. The above bench has enough different options who can come on and influence a game.

The weekend results (including our own of course) has put a completely different perspective on things. I've gone from reasonably confident of it going to the last game or even securing safety before then to resignation that we are doomed. The gods (and everything else) seem to be against us.

All still to play for, but it'll get more difficult with each passing game if we don't start picking up wins.

We need Vardy to have Red Bull poisoning on match day! Why do people drink stuff like that when the have absolutely no need for any more energy than they have already.....strange people!

I've read that Mahrez has made up with his team mates and is back in the fold .... you know what that means for Stoke Charity FC He was already back and playing vs Citeh. It wasn't his fault that his team lost 5-1, but his impact was zero.

It simply isn't over until it's mathematically impossible to reach #17. Normally that would mean if 3 points couldn't get us to that position, but because of our poor goal difference we would have to gain 4.
The fact that we are playing poorly and in quite a few so-called supporters' views aren't good enough really doesn't matter. Other teams look crap at other times too.
The only thing which matters at this point is whether we are 17th or above when the 38th is played.

We need 10-12 points. It's all about the home games.
A few draws away wouldn't hurt mind.

I agree the home games will be the key, we need to beat Everton, Burnley and Palace at home to have any chance and will then still need to pick up a couple of points somewhere else which would give us 36 and an outside chance of staying up.

4 points in the next two will be a good return, but I really doubt it will happen though!

Our home form is top 10.
We’re bottom of the away table.
We are picking up one point from the next two games max.

I think that we need 4 points at the bare minimum to have even a slim chance of somehow staying up (at least 1 against Leicester and HAS to be 3 against Southampton, if we drop points in that match, its pretty much all over to be honest)

Why can ireland not get a start? I’ve been wondering the same thing. Along with Badou and Allen, that’s a good central midfield.

As long as we manage to stay in touch it can go down to the wire and the last two games. Hopefully, two other teams and West Brom will have imploded by then.
A point vs Leicester away would be ok,a win would be fab, a defeat depressing but not the end if we play well.
Re. Ireland - he is probably suffering the effects of playing competitively after his long lay off. I still think he will have a part to play if his leg is up to it.

It's about time our away form changed, but you get the sinking feeling our current players don't have it within them to turn it around. The next time we'll win away it will be against one of Brentford, Cardiff, Leeds etc.

It doesn't matter which team anyone puts out on these threads. None of them inspire me. I think we've had it. Hope I'm wrong, but just cannot, with the best will in the world see it.

It's not last chance. Southampton away is more important and I would happily take getting beat by Leicester and winning at Southampton rather than the other way around.
