I will repeat a post from early on in this thread. Getting rid of Wimmer is the least of our problems. On the other hand signing him was part of our problems along with Imbula and Berahino. What is the point of saying the same thing day after day, what do you get out of it?

I just love being right, I was right all along you know it as well, I called this mess two years ago and backed myself despite the abuse from the ostriches on here clearly.

He could work in the club shop and model the XXXL kits.

There is a young man named Wimmer who we all think should be slimmer, If he eats much less grub he might start as a sub, but will he improve? not a glimmer!

The first thing we need to do with Wimmer (& this has to come from the player himself as much as the club) is get him fit/lose some weight

I honestly can't see him playing another league game for Stoke, he clearly hasn't impressed Lambert so the only option for him is the back door.

Good championship standard defender so if he gets fit he will be useful next season nah, they don't turn their backs and they do track the runners.

He's going to go down in history as our worst ever signing isn't he?
At least Saido only cost 12m.

It’s bizarre that Wimmer £18m, Imbula £18.3m and Berahino £12m are all either mentally or physically unfit or both. I mean fuck up on 1 or even 2 but 3 in such a short space of time is absolutely appalling.
How we signed these duds for big money is a mystery to me. There’s a lot to be said for background checks and real scouting.

Part of me feels sorry for Hughes that he's the only feckless fuck out of the three feckless fucks to pay for this feckless fuckery with his job.

Cex Hanley.
Straight swap for Assassins Creed Syndicate (PS4) and a knackered Toshiba hard drive with compromising photos of what is definitely your mum on it.

Cartwright ex non league goalkeeper and Hughes who has past form on this sort of signing. T hey signed Bobby Zamora, Nedum Onuoha and Djibril Cisse. But QPR only stayed up by the skin of their teeth on the last day of the season.
Then came the biggest spend of all, when Hughes brought a whole new team of players in last summer, including flops like Jose Bosingwa, Samba Diakite, Esteban Granero and Andy Johnson.

In theory Wimmer has to replace Zouma next season.
He’s got his work cut out.

Read the article again instead of just slating him. It says that he is not overweight. He's just not match fit.
I wonder if he can play centre forward?

Interesting in the telegraph article it states that Hughes was keen on it which really surprises me.
"The 25-year-old was signed from Spurs in August on a five-year deal and it is believed Hughes was crucial in pushing Stoke to bring him in, despite the significant price tag."
All interviews and excuses Hughes made involved throwing Wimmer under the bus at first opportunity.

Sell the fat fuck for dog meat. Best chance we have of making a return on him.
Embarrassment to himself as an athlete & the clowns that paid 18m for him.

That's the second fat cunt who's needed to be put on a fitness regime to do the job he's very handsomely paid to do. And this fat cunt cost 50% more than the other fat, useless cunt. They'll be running weight watchers out of Clayton Woods soon. It's an absolute mockery. Read the article again instead of just slating him. It says that he is not overweight. He's just not match fit. I wonder if he can play centre forward? not match fit is being used to say 'he needs to lose a stone of lard and up fitness levels'

I'll be amazed if the Ts and Cs of a Contract from 'our side' don't include some kind of requirement to keep yourself fit (barring actual injury)? That said looking at Wimmer, Bera and Adam, three players who should all, in theory, be Matchday squad members, all overweight and unfit, it makes you wonder what the fuck was being allowed to go on at CW. It's rank mis-management and unprofessionalism.
