At the game. The effort and pressing in the first half was excellent. Could have been more than one up against a side that beat Chelsea 3-0 last week. Great performance.
Second half just ran out of steam but couldn’t criticise a single player or the manager.
Shame we conceded to a badly defended set piece .
Otherwise really good signs today and unlucky to lose

How can a very experienced bunch be so woefully short of what is required to see out a game of football?

Badou looked excellent, shame about the booking otherwise I'm sure he'd have done the full 90, we certainly missed his presence when he went off.
Bauer also looked very good.
The bad sign was that we seemingly ran out of steam on 70 minutes and had no response to Bournemouth's good spell.

If you haven't got the fitness levels to maintain it, not sure how playing a game that leaves them all completely knackered by half-time is a sensible tactic?

You’re wrong. It was so much better today than under Hughes Two comedy goals conceded, including a set piece against a team of midgets. Being camped in our own half for pretty much the entire second half. Being unable to keep hold of the ball for more than a couple of passes. Complete lack of game management from the sideline. It was just like a Hughes away game.

We just needed another goal while we were on top Spot on, glad I'm not the only one who saw it that way. If you haven’t got the players to play a pressing game then don’t do it , wrong team , wrong game plan , wrong subs , worst ever premier league result at Bournemouth , Greek left back in midfield , unbelievably we have actually achieved further regression by taking the cheap Nd desperate option for the umpteenth time . can see it getting very ugly if we lose to Brighton and this time the patsy won’t be there to deflect it .

Otherwise really good signs today and unlucky to lose I never call for a manager to be sacked wether I think they should or not. I refuse to boo my team for poor displays or single out players for criticism but you sir are talking absolute uninformed rubbish. The performance of our team after the first twenty minutes was probably the worst I've seen in a long long time other than the acceptance of Coventry. I love my team, our team, but we were more than poor and didn't know how to deal with Bournemouth as they didn't know how to deal with us for twenty minutes unfortunately we stopped. We didn't run out of steam and if we did then that's a criticism of their fitness.

Really good signs? All the signs today point to a team hurtling towards the Championship. I didn't watch the game as just got in from working, but watching Phil Thompson review the game he was raving about us first half. Said we thought it was easy second half and started to sit back. It certainly didn't sound like what is being made on here.
