Not a premiership striker for me but he's the best we've got currently
Tries his bollocks off but misses far too often and I hate the way he goes down so easy

Love the bloke.
Absolutely ran himself in to the ground today and took a fair few whacks from their lot. Got zero protection from the ever biased Oliver.
His pace was a threat and ensured their back 4 couldn’t step up the pitch. Great to see him finish off a lovely move for the 2nd goal.
He needs some support and competition/back up though.

Striker in "scores when played as striker" shock.
You can see why Shaqiri was pissed in recent weeks. He looked far happier threading passes for Mame to chase today.

Things always seem to happen around him! Let him start unless we can bring in better quality during the window!

Big decision today from Lambo. His first crucial one. Who's my centre forward?

He is good to have in and around the squad but we do need better up front. Credit to him today he buried a one-on-one, just. which doesn't happen very often. Mind you it was a sublime assist from Shaq

I like him but his finishing is below par for a prem striker. He even made that one on one today look more difficult than it should have been. Would like another cf with diouf as backup or as partner. He seems better when he's given no time to think

He is our best striker by an absolute mile. Starting Crouch up front for the last few games has been absolutely mental, it completely prevents any attacking threat.

He was fine but as you said "today". He is a striker who's finishing is below par at this level. But if it was a lot better he wouldn't be playing for us. Ideally we need other options

Really good today but He still needs a bit more fitness It's not his fitness, he leaves it all on the pitch, unlike some. He was knackered by 65mins but he ran his heart out in that first hour and I'm really glad he deserved his goal.

I love Diouf, genuinely I think he’s ace but I also think that we need a new addition up top. A strong intuitive CF. But well played today mame, perseverance personified!

Nice finish today, the lad works so hard for the team, hopefully this fills him with confidence. I’d still bring in another striker or two though.

Put him up front for the last 14 games and he’ll score you 5 goals + . Simple as that......

People say he’s not a Premier League quality striker, but the facts are that the one season he was played consistently as a striker he scored twelve goals, and when he’s been used there more recently he’s consistently been on the scoresheet.
There’s this fallacy that every team should have a 20 goal a season striker, but outside of the top six they pretty much don’t exist.
Mame is far from perfect but he’s the best we’ve got by a distance and I’m always happy to have him starting up top.

Didn’t give their centre backs a minutes rest and as a result they got more and more panicky. Hopefully if he gets a bit of continuity in the role his touch will sharpen up.

Not saying I don't like him I really do, but if you think his finishing is par at the moment this level you need give your head a wobble. He is the best we have at the minute and may work better as a two but finishing really isn't his string point. People seem to forget the missed chances once a good game is had.

Shaqs shooting was off today. Makes you think when he scores a world why he can't strike it cleanly more often.
