Does he have any sensible suggestions to take the club forward or is it just his usual negative nonsense?
Sorry - CBA to read his nonsense, he gets the same treatment as Trump and Moanrino from me = ignore ...

He's not right about tennis players playing every day for 14 days in the Grand Slams, they play every other day unless the schedule is interrupted through bad weather.
It's still pretty brutal though and their fitness levels are frightening.

My club???? The guy who fucked off to Everton, I wasn't alive then but wasn't the sale all part of paying for the butler street roof, along with the Greenhoff sale? I might be wrong but he didn't push for a move did he?

So Coates is Scrooge - Pulis is Ghost of Christmas Past Hughes Christmas Present Lets hope there is soon a Christmas Future Good one, but I think the points of A Christmas Carol are: the distant past may have been good, but bad behaviour will mess it up, the present is what it is, as a result of what you have done, or failed to do in the past, the future is what you make it, not what is prescribed, and it is never too late to change your ways. Let's hope the Stoke owners and management understand the message and change their ways PDQ. Unfortunately all the signs recently are they are intent on carrying on in the same manner that has got us to where we are today. I am seriously concerned that we will procrastinate throughout January, maybe spending a few £m on the odd player who is running out of contract or in the twilight of his career, and in the last week panic and spend £18m+ on a player who has spent all season sat on his back-side or never played a significant amount in the Prem.

It's still pretty brutal though and their fitness levels are frightening. He does say: "the top tennis players can play every other day for a fortnight at the top tournaments"A better analogy might be top cyclists, tour competitors only have the occasional rest day, and who's fitness levels are very frightening. I once saw a documentary on Chris Hoy and he was collapsing and throwing up after training sessions, pushing his body to the absolute extreme in practice!

He's just towing the currently popular party line of bashing Hughes.
You're not allowed to support the manager anymore.

Pej can say what he wants for me; I don't always agree with him but he has:
been raised in Chesterton 2 roads from me, played for Stoke from a young age (younger than Denis Smith), worked in a pot bank in his summer break when an apprentice, selected to play for England by no less than Alf Ramsay, a key member of Stoke great side in the 70s, and stuck with the club to the bitter end and then moved back to the top flight, returned to his roots, found another sporting career and worked his way to the top.
I think when he says something it is based a lot of knowledge and experience and is worth anyone's time listening to him.

Yep - we are currently in the twilight where Coates tweaks Marley's nose as a door knob, is then followed by Cartwright in a ball of chains and then wakes up convincing himself it never happened due to a rich meal and we are in fact on track for a top ten finish

When Pej & Smithy speak, they are talking from past experience and seeing their club failing badly. Those who don't like their comments either never saw them play or don't like true comments.
