When Pej & Smithy speak, they are talking from past experience and seeing their club failing badly. Those who don't like their comments either never saw them play or don't like true comments. Or disagree.

He's not right about tennis players playing every day for 14 days in the Grand Slams, they play every other day unless the schedule is interrupted through bad weather. It's still pretty brutal though and their fitness levels are frightening. He actually says every other day. Yes, my mistake.

There is a as section of deluded idiots on this board who have no idea about football, they just blindly back Lesley and refuse to admit or even see the damage he is doing to our club, Pej is spot on a professional who played at the very top level under different managers meanwhile these half wits question his knowledge of the game, he can see what is going on and is right to express his concerns for the club he loves.

As a child I recall there were pictures in the Pub of the Stoke team that he played in. I have cousins who were well known locals some years ago.

I am the black sheep of the family !

Mr Longshaw More pubs in Smallthorne than dogs at one time haha Yes loads of pubs and all selling good ale. The banter with the Vale fans made the fun even better. Whenever Vale lost most fans didn't walk down Ford Green Rd after the match, but skulked home via the back alleys. They just couldn't handle the abuse that would be thrown at them from the pub - all in good fun I would add. Never nasty (well hardly ever).

That's great but Pej and Smithy were talking completely opposing views the other day after the Newcastle game. So who's opinion was true? I saw them both play btw H

When has Pej ever been happy, he's got a face like 10 miles of bad road, more chance of Hughes getting it right than this man smiling I take it you've never met him? Really nice bloke, I grant you he used to be a miserable sod but he's mellowed a lot, Now if you can produce a picture of Alan Bloor or Alan Dodd smiling?

Agenda against LMH my arse, its all his own doing and the club will pay.
