Davef yes they should have reduced the price last year seeing how much money that comes to a premiership club now,so if we do go down then i would be very disappointed if the price is not reduced, some fans must live on a different planet if they think that the attendance in the championship will not be effected to much, the average gate would be nearer 18000 then drop every year we stay down

i will be renewing. just seen latest artical in sentinel about sale dates and prices. I think the club ( Tony Scholes ) should give reduction in price as gesture of good will. and given that many supporters turn up week in week out in all weathers and travel to away matches and see us lose 5-0 at spurs 7-2 man city and losing at palace and bournemouth and coventry. I think they need to offer lower prices for behind the goal.

Wow, your life as a fan, but not a 'super fan'. Your opinion that anyone who has supported the through thick and thin must be revelling in the fact that the the club is struggling is utter horse shit. My 1st year of having a season ticket saw us win 3 matches in the entire season. I've had a season ticket ever since. So your self righteous drivel regarding superfans is making me laugh so much it's dribbling down my leg..... No not everyone who's supported through thick and thin just numpties like you "sort the wheat from the chaff", get rid of the plastic fans, JCL's then it will just be us Super Fans together. Its utter bollocks always was always will be. Me I'll be there and gagging for them all to come back not because I want them to be like me, behave like me or keep me company, just because that means the club will be doing well and I'll be watching better football. Anyway you need to make your mind up how long you've been going through thick and thin because the 3 wins was 84/85 yet in an earlier post you had been a stalwart for over 40 years. I've not even been regular for quite 40 years yet my first ST was 78/79. Psst Don't want to get involved in your private little argument or anything but it is possible to be a regular attendee without being a season ticket holder. More so in days of yore when the price differential wasn't so great. Just saying like.

Put the tickets on sale at previous seasons prices. In the unlikely chance we are relegated then everyone get a shop voucher for £50. In the likely chance we stay up everyone gets £25 voucher to spend in the shop. Why, just charge the same regardless of league.

Wasn't anything to do with me in them days my Dad used to buy my ST so I wouldn't even know how much it was never mind what the difference was. I'm pretty sure its just bluster with these people, they have to make up some positives if we get relegated so choose to turn their fire on anyone who doesn't fit their stereotype of how a fan should behave. The only people I'm sure are not responsible for our garbage performances over the last couple of years are the fans who continue to turn up in numbers despite the dross football being served up. I'm not going to criticise them if some of them decide they've had enough until something changes.

To be honest mate I attended virtually every game from about 72 onwards (with a blip in the late 80's through work) but didn't get a season ticket until we moved to the Brit. I don't ever remember not being able to poll up on a Saturday pay on the gate and find a spot to stand and then move if you were next to a nob. That was my rational in 97, I didn't want to be stuck sat next to someone I didn't like. Little did I know that for the next 10 years I could have taken my pick of any seat in the stand for most games.

Little did I know that for the next 10 years I could have taken my pick of any seat in the stand for most games. I did have an ST off and on at the Vic, as I recall it had very few advantages for a boothen ender. In fact the ST let me wander around from paddock to paddock and sit in the condemned corner off and on. As I recall free Wednesday nights for reserve games and a seat in the stand if you fancied it for those. A couple of cup vouchers that helped for big FA cup games, useless otherwise. The only reason to own a ST was to save maybe two free games in return for all the up front money. I only bought one if I was working or flush. I never failed to push my way into my usual spot, especially after the first song. Then this new stadium malarkey kicked in, had to buy a fkn seat with your mates else you couldn't sit together. Regardless of if you could afford to buy the ST up front. The season ticket as we know it now was a pretty pointless gesture tbh and certainly had nothing to do with being a proper fan. Until the new all seater that is. Even worse now you have to decide before the season is 2/3 thru. It's all very different being a proper fan nowadays.

He blew it himself. Get over him! Same as Hughes really both managers had a short period where it looked like we were on the cusp of something special then spent the next couple of years strangling the life out of everything that looked so promising.

I don't class my self as a 'super-fan' so for once you are correct, it's utter bollocks, something you talk a lot of. I couldn't care less if people renew or don't renew, it's up to them. But people saying that they just can't imagine us playing in front of a half empty stadium makes me laugh, we've done it for donkeys years before the Prem. So if you're going to be 'gagging' for no-show supporters who don't like the idea of watching us play non-Prem football to return is your thing, then fair enough. I won't be. Anyway, maths may not be your strongest point, but Spurs at home in October 1977 (lost 3-1) was my 1st match and I was a regular (Butler Street Paddock) until I got a season ticket in 1984 (Boothen Paddock) and have had one ever since. I don't class myself as a 'stalwart', I just support my team whatever league they play in by attending matches, but I'm sure you'll have some more drivel to spout.....

You're not the first by a long way I've read so many derogatory names spouted to describe our newer fans, whatever you want to call them. You won't be. So you really are going to carry on going if we go down and not want us to do well because they'll all come back. I call bullshit. Yup I'll be gagging for them to come back not because I have some affection for them I don't know any of them but they'd be evidence that we were doing well again and that's what I always want to see.
