Correct. Also referred to as "08-ers". As in people who started attending after promotion in 2008.

The renewal date is fast approaching, I just can't face a season of DIY, gardening and atking the mrs to the fucking shops so it's a no brainer for me. Gouranga.

I'm renewing. Not my son. You're not renewing your son? I didn't realise you could do that. Good job my dad didn't know either

If we go down I'd expect 5-7k less on the gates followed by gradual decline if we don't come back up quickly. The majority of us remember some of the woeful attendance at the brit on the wilderness years. I recall plenty of sub 10k crowds in the gudjon years. But they were good fun. I think it was when we beat Cambridge 5 0 under Gudjon and there were about 8000 in the crowd. Freezing night but a great performance Stoke vs Plymouth crowd of 9000. Pissed it down.

There will be plenty in the new corner. Great strategy. Increase your capacity then cause yourself to get relegated. Pioneered by Wolves

Will they reduce the price? Will they bring back the voucher book? They're going to have to do something. Guessing the voucher number used to be one of the best games heading to the match

Really don't know what to do. I've been a ST holder since the late 80's but I am so fed up of whats happened with the club over the last two sessons I'm not sure I can be bothered. Living out of the area I can't make every match as it is, and if we're in the championship the extra midweek and Friday night fixtures will probably mean I'll miss even more so it becomes expensive per match. I may just pick my matches and pay on the day.

We'll renew but must admit not looking forward to the Thursday, Friday night, Saturday late and Sunday early kick offs put on by Sky as spoilers or the early August start. Don't think we'll be in the Leeds/Newcastle league of every championship game being televised but we'll have our fair few.

Ill match the boards ambition.
Although this thread is no doubt full of stoke heros saying they are the bestestfans ever and will have a 350 quid season ticket if we were in the confrence.
Ill sod it off and pick games i can be arsed going if it suits me..bit like the players

It doesn't matter what league we are in if 1) you believe the team are trying, 2) if the team are going to provide something like entertaining football & 3) we actually score some goals ( more than 1 a game). It's usually 4 hours of weekend that leave me totally frustrated, in a bad mood and wanting to argue- after 50 years of it, I have better things to do with what limited time I may have left. Definitely no for me.

Guarantee that free travel will stop... No more grants from the Premier league to fund it... Although I wonder if parachute payments would still include the grant ? Free travel will be even more important if we go down

For a number of reasons I haven’t been able to purchase a season ticket the last 3 seasons.
Funnily enough I will be whatever happens next season as circumstances have changed. I’ll actually be buying two.
I’ve missed it.

Certain clubs have managed to maintain significant levels of support when relegated - Derby, Norwich, even Fulham - but I get a very strong impression that we won’t be one of them!

Out of the country August, September and part of October and February, also all of March and April for at least the next three years. Renew or not? It’s not about being Premier League but what a dilemma, hard to justify the cost of a pair of tickets. Decisions, decisions.

Certainly in the early stages of the season, we'll probably end up with loads of televised fixtures as well.
Awesome!

The Championship isn't the end of the world, you'll see a slightly less high standard of football and refereeing, but it's still football, we'll rid ourselves of the players that don't want to be here and there will be more 3pm kick offs.
I might be able to get my lad his first season ticket without moving too far from my excellent seats on the halfway line.
It might also get rid of the moaning tosser who has parked his fat arse next to me for the last three seasons!

We were talking about this at the weekend. We’ll all renew, but it has nothing to do with entertainment or enjoying football anymore, we all will renew because it’s what “we do”...we go to Stoke, always have.
I can honestly say though that it’s been a while now since I properly, and I mean absolutely, looked forward to going.

I sadly will not be renewing after 34 yrs as a season ticket holder. My decision has nothing to do with what league we will be in but the fact that I am now 60 yrs old and no longer fancy the 400 mile round trip to attend home games plus the fact that my wife is now registered disabled so I need to spend more time with her and the family.

not me, nothing to do with shit football or relegation. Seen enough crap over 60 years so that makes no difference. All to do with the way i'm treated as a disabled supporter.

The club have received bags of praise for the new improved disabled facilities as well have you voiced your concerns?

I’m in along with Son and Grandson
I’ll not miss the Prem in some ways
I’m hoping for more ‘honest’ football with a bit of hope thrown In for promotion or at least vying for something
