Many paying on the gate for this. I certainly am mainly to voice my thoughts towards hughes and co. We should take a good following and let our thoughts be heard for this

I reckon we'll take about 4,000 for this game & 'Time to go' will be heard very loud and very clearly.

We've supported them massively through the last set of 10 games and its not made a blind bit of difference.

That's the spirit lads, Stoke's finest True supporters. I can picture the scene. You at the Somme imploring the lads to continue to go over the top as you're sure that at some point the Germans will run out of bullets (can the moral majority on here avoid mounting their sanctimonious steeds for this analogy). The difference here is that we appear to have donkeys led by asses. I think that, in general, the fans have been more than patient over a considerable period of time. That time ended decisively for me the moment Shaqiri just gave up on chasing a 40:60 ball against Newcastle. As has been said elsewhere, all our support has not made a blind bit of difference and I feel that we, the paying punters, are being treated with contempt by the manager (I was at Chelsea) and increasingly now by the board. I was there when we took direct action to voice our frustration and anger to the Board in the reign of Coates v1.0. While I'm not advocating storming the Waddington Suite again and will forever be grateful for what Coates v2.0 has done for the club and the City, decisive action is long overdue. If we continue to meekly accept the woeful performances from the top to the bottom of the organisation, we are down as sure as night follows day. So, I shall be at Coventry and if Hughes is in charge there will be a period of about 5 minutes grace from me. If the team come out like a pack of rabid dogs who look like they actually give a fuck about the dross they have served up for the majority of time since the semi at Anfield then they shall have my backing. If they do not show the pride and the effort that I believe justifies the tens of thousands of pounds I have spent supporting them through thick and thin over 30+ years then they are going to know that I am not happy. If this makes me less of a fan in some people's eyes then so be it. At least (when) if we do go down it will not be for the lack of my pointing out that what we are witnessing and what the Board is presiding over is an act of vandalism both on the fans but also on the City. Loyalty and support is a two-way street. I will be watching Stoke when all the current crop of players and the Board have long since moved on. I think that voicing concerns about the current crop of transient players and abject mis-management of our club is fair enough and if you don't, that's cool too - each to their own. AL,AP,AS

That's the spirit lads, Stoke's finest True supporters. I've been to every home game this season and six away games including Man City & Spurs. I'll be at the Ricoh on Saturday. Most Stoke fans will be singing Time to Go should we lose because we care about the club and we want change. Do you not understand that? Doing nothing when you're in the shit means you couldn't care less.

Aren't we singing that even if we win? He needs to fucking go! If we can't sing it then are we to go Carroll singing it outside his house?

I know you didn't say that personally but the idea of a rabid dirty atmosphere from the off is something I find a bit weird. The cup could be the only saviour of a so far horrible season. It won't be if people are just screaming shit at the players and manager for the whole of the game. I hope he fucks off just as much as you but I equally hope we see this banana skin out.

I won't get on the players backs untill they are not putting any effort in, which is usually around 3 minutes into the game, then i will.

How very sad.... if your going to how about get behind the team instead?? Our club is far bigger than Hughes. I want him gone myself but travelling to a game just to sing Hughes out is pathetic. Get behind the lads you morons or just don’t go.

Cheers
I've been blessed over the years to see some wonderful talent at Stoke (Chambo, Beagrie, Hoekstra, Bojan). There are few games I've enjoyed more than some of Hughes' best performances.
I appreciate football has changed but the constant for me is that if you pull on the shirt (and take a wage), stand on the touchline or sit in the Boardroom you need to convince me that you care as much about the club as I do. Perhaps this is a little fanciful nowadays but it's still my bottom line. I can safely say that they have not passed this test for some time. I'm not daft enough to think that any of them are really as invested as the fans but the current crop do not stand up well when compared with Dicko, Wilko, Faye, Smith, Kamara (player not manager) etc.
The condescending (but perhaps well-meaning) comments of St Peter around 'what's the fuss about' and numerous Hughes offerings of late make me feel like we, the fans, are being taken for granted and that is a dangerous road to go down.
AL,AP,AS.

I’m as loaded iff as anyone but if I went the lads would have my full backing. I’ve seen far worse days than this. Obviously many haven’t.

The only way money minded Scholes and co. will take any notice is if you vote with your feet. I know its harsh and we should be getting behind the team but unfortunately change is needed first and that won't come unless the fans give the board a big wake up call.

Coventry City must be viewing all of this and absolutely relishing the cup tie. A chance to get stuck into a lame side and cause an upset.
