Putting him on the wing where he's proven to be ineffective for us, another sign of top class management. Exactly right. Playing Allen at number 10 and sticking Shaq on the wing was ridiculous. No wonder Shaq was pissed off - conner blame him.

I seriously doubt that he said that.

He got smashed by that tackle and then went hiding. Really don't get why he didn't bring Ramadan on though. He didn't get smashed. He saw it coming in and looked like he fell in slow motion. Was a great tackle. Makes me think o the sort of players we used to mock when they went into hiding after getting done by a tackle of ours.

Has he been tapped up or just pissed off?
Suddenly expecting someone like west ham come in offer 100k a week 5 year deal.

Surely it would have made more sense to bring on Ramadan on the right wing where he has recently bagged a couple of goals.....still Hughes knows best....not.

What I don't get is that by Hughes' own admission, to get the best out of him, he needs to be played centrally. It's one of the main reasons he went to a back 3. But it's like that's the only formation that he can play him centrally in. Yet we've gone back to 4231 and he could easily play as the middle one in the 3 but he hasn't done it. Why? I can't fathom this either. The reluctance to even try it since we've had him is baffling. If it doesn't work going forward then fine but let's have a go and see. It allows for a bit of extra solidity by bringing in some more effective cover for the full backs which we badly need. There again it's an absolute head scratcher seeing him in and around the box on set pieces as well but that's still going on.

He's pissed off with how things are. He's probably one of the only players who Hughes has lost. I thought the same. I noticed as he came out second half he usually runs out over to the stand and claps everyone. He just walked out the tunnel and just stopped in the middle of the pitch. He's lost him for sure. No he didn't - he walked over to the touchline in front of the East stand - they applauded him and he reciprocated. Stick to the facts please.
