Looked to me like he just didn’t fancy it after being clattered Sunday league style in the first five minutes. Disgraceful, pathetic and unacceptable

Also thought they knew what they were doing there, hurt him early and he won't be up for it. Sad to see someone with that ability just not give a shit.

A pathetic effort, actually there wasn't any effort. I don't think he should be played on the right wing he should be played behind the striker, But it's inexcusable not to try. Drop him to the bench and give him the Saido treatment, give his place to someone who actually wants to play for Stoke. Gouranga.

He got tons of abuse from behind the sugout when he came off. I don't see how he can play for the club again after a performance like that.
When the system was built around him, he scored a few goals but we were atrocious as a team. Now that he's asked to play in a different system, he doesn't seem bothered. Where does that leave him?
He's not as good as Arnie, he's not as good as Bojan and he's not even on the same planet as Fuller.
My biggest concern is finding somebody with enough money to buy him. Does anybody honestly think that another PL team would want him?

An absolute disgrace. That's how I'd describe his performance. Gutless.

He’s our best player by a mile technically but I don’t think he should be playing out wide. He just doesn’t see enough of the ball and when he does get it it’s rarely in dangerous areas, he needs to be playing more central.

May has well get rid in this window, he won't be with us in the Championship,so get what we can for him and and spend the money on players in the summer who can get us back up.

Apparently Chelsea are interested
Not as first eleven but for their squad , far flung champions league games , playing stoke at Christmas, injury cover etc
That would be right up his street and he would be handy in that situation

I genuinely can't believe that anybody would come to his defence after today. On top of everything else, He was falling out with pretty much all of our team and there was the strange incident of a supporter shouting at Hughes to 'tell Shaqiri to put some effort in' (or similar). Hughes responded by turning around and saying 'you tell him!' I imagine you'll have fun later pointing out how lost Zouma looked without Ryan alongside him

Not interested in the slightest. Can you blame him? Puts the hard work in only for the defending only to cock it up. Surprised he's still here Yes I can fucking blame him. He's paid a fortune and to not put the slightest effort in is shocking. He never gets back and never got forward today. He obviously wants out and I personally would get rid. For all the quality he brings he offers nothing when the going is tough. I thought Walters and Whelan were shit and needed moving on but they would never have put in such an embarrassing charade of a performance.

I said he was a problem a few weeks back and got slated for it,he is a average player who occasionally has a good game when he wants,he’s a journeyman that’s why other teams moved him on.

Imo ...if Edwards is going to be right back, he needs Ramadan in front of him , and we need diouf up top
Rammers and diouf might look out a bit for Edwards, Shaq will give him no support whatsoever

His whole game is about pass and move, interaction between players and people making runs, we can't pass and we hardly move so it doesn't surprise me he's not playing well but his lack of interest (2nd half especially) cant be justified. Putting him on the wing doesn't help either but you have to say choupo on the other wing fared much better. I would have liked the front three to be much closer together so they could play of each other but that's never going to happen with Crouch on the pitch.

Quiet as a mouse and couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery let alone his defensive colleagues. Not to worry, when everyone is fit, Ryan will be on the bench

The tackle by Yedlin on him after 10 minutes was a perfectly fair challenge but Shaqiri did tweak his ankle as a result of it. Personally I don't think he was moving properly from that point onwards and he should've signalled to the bench if he was struggling and been replaced earlier. That being said partially injured or not his body language and general attitude throughout that game today was totally unacceptable.

If i were shaq i would be angry too playing with the dross that surrounds him. To be booed for not chasing that ball from choupou was scandalous. Why would you want your only creative player to chase a lossed course? Seriously ? To get clapped and appreciated for running?
He has every right to want out this window. Fans want out as donthe players.
Championship here we come.

Been shit since being unfairly hooked at Burnley. Or maybe when he was fairly hooked at Brihton. No matter what is going on, if you're a professional footballer getting paid a fuck load of money, the minimum you should give is effort.

Been saying it for weeks. He isn't interested in Stoke City and it will only get worse the closer we get to the World Cup.
If he stays here and in the team, today's performance will be brilliant in comparison to what he will be turning out in March or April.

I sit in block 31 and the tackle was pretty much right in front of my view, like I say he definitely won the ball but Shaqiri was holding his ankle after it as a result of the way he went to ground. He wasn't moving freely after it and I think he should've been subbed personally.
