As long as Tony Pulis returns we will go back to winning ways. GOARNN JON! I must have imagined West Brom not winning since August.

Got be Butland Edwards Ryan zouma pieters Shaq. Cameron Allen Moting Saido Diouf Zouma is injured mate, and will be on Saturday. Also I didn't like the way Pieters was holding his groin. Wouldn't be too surprised if he was out too. Fuck knows who he'll play and in what formation. It's beyond a joke now Why was Pieters holding Zoumas groin?

I might be being dramatic here but I reckon the loser of this match will be relegated. I can't imagine the damage that a loss here will do to either squads of players, even if it is only December.
I sincerely hope it isn't us.

I don’t get the feeling that West Brom are looking at the same threat of relegation that we are. They have a reasonably solid back line and that is the foundation they can build on and improve. It’s a case of tweaking a few things rather than a wholesale rethink. We on the other hand have the shakiest of foundations that collapse on a regular basis and still haven’t decided on what formation or tactics we want to use going forward.

its an interesting team selecton , I imagine they are built to defend the long ball pretty well so do we try and play through them with something like
Jack Cameron Ryan Zouma ( please be fit) Pieters or Tymon Fletcher / Affelay Allen Adam Shaq Berahino / Diouf Choupo / Jese
4-3-3 to try and be more solid

No win in 16 games... only 3 wins in 30... one away win this calendar year... 6 goals scored in their last 10 games (2 goals in their last 7 away)... Their record this calendar year is actually worse than ours...! WBA: Won 7, Drew 12, Lost 18 (33pts) Stoke: Won 10, Drew 9, Lost 18 (39pts) They're as much in trouble as we are - and haven't had the expected new manager 'bounce' either. Pardew needs a miraculous window, much like us.

Pardew needs a miraculous window, much like us. If you watch them things are generally under control and they are just missing a bit of inspiration at the top end of the pitch. Pardew will just need a bit of time to build on what he’s got. We , on the other hand , just seem to be spinning in ever decreasing circles with no clear way forward. Time will tell.

Albion might still have enough of Pulis's DNA to get a draw. But I think we will win this one and we can all go into Christmas in a better frame of mind. Let's hope so.

I never ever want us to lose but I really think Hughes must go this weekend whether we win, lose or draw.
In view of Coates's previous comments I'd imagine Hughes will have yet another reprieve if we win on Saturday which is really just delaying the seemingly inevitable. Hughes needs to go so we can get the new manager in before the transfer window opens.

If Zouma is fit
..........................Jack...................... Johnson..Zouma.....Ryan.........Eric ................Geoff...........Allen........... .........................Afellay................... .......Shaqiri.......Diouf......Choup....
If Eric and Zouma out I’d go back to 343
Jack
Ryan Geoff Wimmer
Diouf Allen Afellay Tyman
Shaqiri Bera Choup

Damage limitation time here - we cannot afford to lose. Much depends on the fitness of Zouma and Pieters. Assuming we bandage them up and send them out, we have to go to a three man central midfield as teams have been waltzing through there all season:
Butland
Zouma Shawcross Wimmer Pieters
Cameron Fletcher Allen
Shaqiri Choupo-Moting
Diouf

Not sure if zouma or Eric will be fit but I would definitely try and strengthen centre field .
Jack
Edwards. Shawx. Wimmer. Eric/tymon
Cameron. Zouma/adam Allen.
Shaq.
Diouf. Bera.
If Eric not fit I would put Cameron at right back to give more experienced back line with tymon on left and zouma adam defensive midfielders, with shaq given a free role as he is our only class player likely to make something happen.

For all the good the Manager's supposed input has for our performances we might just as well replace him with a Christmas Gnome in the technical area to see if he brings any better luck.
