Beyond that West Ham game, are there any other examples of this, because I’ve clearly missed them? I’ve seen him get angry and try to maim various Southampton players... The demolition away at Villa, where he had to be dragged away from the home supporters when we scored?

If everything else was OK with the club, I could get on board with a bit of booing. As it stands he is the least of our problems and nothing more than a convenient distraction.

He is yet to be proved wrong, also how can we slate a bloke who says we have no ambition and there are deeper issues in the club whilst a large portion of our fans are saying the same thing

I see it the same was as the OP but I don't think the majority will.
People won't be able to help but berate him.
It's certainly destined to play out in the way we all know and expect this game today.

If he did. he wouldn't have signed for West Ham? What are they going to win, realistically?

To be fair I am surprised how poorly West Ham have done, it's a sad state of affairs that it appears he was happy to jump ship to anyone other than stay here. As for him not giving a shit about ambition I don't know him and have never spoken to him so I don't assume to know his thoughts.

The best thing we can do today is to treat this as an ordinary PL fixture and get behind Hughes and the team 100%. Just ignore Arnie. He's not exactly the greatest footballer the world has ever seen, whatever he may think of himself. Lets make the most deafening, ear splitting racket we can in support of our team and manager this afternoon. I’d 100% like this to happen. I’m 100% sure it won’t. 😏

We won't ever know, but his comments about our club seem to be on the mark. Were they? Were we any less ambitious this summer than summer 2016 when he was prepared to sign a long and more lucrative contract with us, after he realised a more ambitious (ie richer/stupider) club wasn't coming in for him of course? As soon as another club wafted a wad of notes infront of his eyes he was off (and you can't really balame him for that) but his comments were bollocks because West Ham are no more ambitious than us. Those comments were used as a smokescreen by the Brothers Grimm to try and deflect attention from their greed. Nothing more nothing less. Just give the twat hell for 90+ minutes (including the warm up and any time he spends on the bench).

Apart from it being pantomime season I can’t see why grown men feel the need to boo like daft fucking children. It’s embarrassing. Especially when you think how silent we are when it comes to vocal “support” of our team. Unfortunately booing referees and opposition players is all we are good for these days. Wow. It’s like you’ve gone back to the 19th century when you sit there waving a rattle around and clapping an opposition goal! This is what’s wrong with football at times. People who have become so self righteous. The so called bear pit has died and this is the reason why.

Hard to say whether booing him will achieve the desired result. It's inevitable though isn't it? I don't get the aggravation towards him though to be honest. He played well for us, made us a big profit ....... and let's be truthful here, the statement he made explaining his departure has an increasingly ring of truth about it. Shit......many fans continued to boo Demba Ba after our biggest transfer fuck-up of the 21st Century....... all he did was try to sign for us...... figure that thought process out if you can

He thinks he’s bigger than us and he deserves to get pelters all game as far as I’m concerned. Which is going to happen regardless!!

Fuck me sideways read that back to yourself and ask yourself your age At least a bit of balance is needed....we should be more worried about the support our players get not childish shit at an oppo player or referee. Opposition support their players...where’s our support?

Who shouted you down, I just have little or no feeling towards him. It might change if he is standing hands cupping his ears after scoring, other than that all I care about is us pulling out of this nose dive. I will aim my vocals to support Stoke regardless of what he said

He's the villain, he will love being the centre of attention, we will end up winding him up and he will score then stick the boot in with this celebration. You’ve still not said what this hypothesis is based on. When has that actually happened relating to him? There’s as much chance he’ll do a Kris Commons and not be able to handle it? Southampton’s players wound him up enough to get him sent off in the first half twice. Players always score against clubs that have a hatred for them.

Arnie does not have the capacity to deal with abuse from all the fans, he also loses his temper easily. He is reckless. Booing him is the way to go, in the hope it will distract him and he reacts Well we will see.

Have we all gone soft? He deserves a proper Kris Commons, Steve Cotterill style reception. Snakes don't like it when we turn nasty This. The full treatment. I want to see him climb inside his own areshole, Danny Rose style. If he scores and celebrates like a cunt in front of our fans, somebody get on the pitch and set him ablaze.
