What are we going with?
Boo or applause ?
Discuss ...
I personally think he’ll get booed big time, and he will lose his head and get sent off.

Neither
Both are the attention seeking that he craves
The response that would damage his ego more than anything would be zero response. Complete cold shoulder.
but I'm not sure our lot are bright enough to carry that one through tbh

Nothing but silence and contempt -our finest will however, no doubt diminish themselves in the usual low brow, knuckle dragging fashion however.

= Recipe for Disaster What happens if/when he scores, how will anyone know whether we are booing him or own manager. I suppose the boos for him could work like a warm up for the venom our own players and management are going to face later on in the game if we go behind. The thing Arnie will be most looking forward to tonight will be all the attention of those boos tomorrow you can be sure.

Polite applause when he comes out, he is one of my few Stoke City heroes, I won't let anything take that away from me, I loved him to pieces, but silence in the game, he is now sadly the opposition.

Dogs abuse for the whole game from me.
Inside I'll be wishing that he still played for us because he was comfortably our best player.

Ask Southampton, who’ve managed to push his buttons twice and been rewarded with a red card. Sorry, the day when I worry about whether or not to boo a greedy bastard backstabbing ex player is the day I jack it all in.

No question concerted effort by fans and players to unsettle him , noise, trips , tackles , abuse in torrents the lot , the boys got talent but a suspect temperament , dogs abuse from the closest touchline , might just seem him implode .

Applause? No chance

Not deserving of applause because he did force an exit at the end of the day...
But it was a good deal for us financially, and it was a contract he couldn't turn down. It'd be hard to turn down one hundred grand a week till you're 34 even if you supported Stoke, let alone if you didn't.

Boo
Will be nice to get a bit of an atmosphere going again. It's been shit watching stoke recently so regardless of the 'we better not do this because there's a chance he might play well' attitude people are having - it's going add a bit to the game.
Get some noise going and let's get back to having an atmosphere which gets some hairs stand up. It's only going happen in situations like this, so let's make the most of it.
It's been a while since I've sat in the home end looked around in awe of the decibels and gone 'fucking hell I'd hate to be that player'. And it's the perfect chance to do so tomorrow. It's part of the reason why I pay my money and love this sport.

Kinky John will boo and applause simultaneously in order to confuse Mark-O and the people around him. Then when confusion reaches its peak, I will strike.
