The performance today says a lot about the state of the players minds and today we were by far the better team. To lose it is gutting but sooner or later our luck will change.
The players themselves worked so hard for their manager and have clearly not lost faith in him so neither should we.
Hold your nerve guys!
HUGHES IN!!

I said in our whatsapp chat it was weird how the players seemed to really work for him tonight.
Doesn’t change anything for me.
He needs to fucking go.

You're entitled to your opinion but the club is in a worrying state at the moment something needs to change, starting with the manager because the results have just not been good enough. But the club from the top down needs a complete overhaul.

Problem is, he has adopted a siege mentality and also run out of luck. I don't think he deserves the personal abuse being dished out on here, but I fear for him on Saturday now.

If there’s one thing I hate in football, it’s the “we were the better team”.
We lost, so therefore we were not the better team, we were in fact, fucking pitiful.
The only place Hughes should be in is an A1 skip.

I'm so disappointed with this result tonight.
Forget the effort put in tonight, it's not enough - we need points, we need clean sheets and we need goals. We're delivering nothing. It's not good enough.

(tin hat on) Today was fucking awful, hit and hope to Crouch for 20 mins then when that didn't work we were effectively down to 10 men as Crouch offers nothing else, and his one change was to take our best player off, who btw clearly has lost faith in him judging by his reaction.

(tin hat on) We looked alright in the first half without threatening to score. Second half we slowly lost any control we had of the game when Dyche made changes and our manager did fuck all..apart from take off our only potent attacking player. He clearly can't turn this around. He has to go sooner rather than later.

Excellent for most of the first half. Couldn't fault any of them aside from Fletcher who just slows us down. Ramadan, Zouma and Shaqiri were excellent.
All went wrong with the Zouma injury, Wimmers introduction gave the defence the jitters, especially Ryan who turned to jelly when he came on. Burnley overall were very average. Whoever's in charge against West Ham better be playing Shawcross and Geoff at centre back.
The Shaqiri substitution was unforgivable. It always is.

He isn't even capable of getting his players to the required fitness level to keep going for 90 minutes . Shocking just shocking and should have gone last May at the latest .

Zouma going off cost us big time but who came on? Someone Hughes spunked £18m on and isn't good enough. As for the substitution of Shaqiri, that's one of the most bizzare things I've ever seen a manager do.

(tin hat on) I couldn't see most of the game tonight. What did we do well? Did we create a chance? There was barely nothing about our game on bbc live text. What is their to be positive about? I think most people would have said we would lose 1-0 tonight
