I've said it a few times, it needs to happen. Koeman over Rowett any day of the week He wouldn't come, we don't pay enough.

If this is true then it is a shock as hardly any managers resign these days. I would think there must be more to it than just the reception at the train station. I wonder if perhaps Hughes was told that he would have no money to spend in January. Or perhaps Coates has been sounding out other managers and Hughes has become aware of that and decided his position was untenable. Or perhaps he just doesn't want the hassle any more. It's not as though he particularly needs the money. The season as a whole has been a shocker, the lethargic activity in the transfer window, the even more lethargic performances (the lack of yellow cards is a direct indication of this for me) i just have had a feeling that it was agreed that this was Hughes’ last season with either a new man, or perhaps even new owners on the horizon. Hughes simply fell on his sword early to save his face perhaps This, like everything else is pure rumour of course. Let’s see what Monday brings

Koeman's a bigger wanker than Pulis or Hughes. He's a proper shithouse behind the scenes. If you thought Pulis was toxic then you ain't seen nothing yet.

Most obvious and likely is Pulis IMO though I do have the feeling we may see Pulis until the end of the season with a limited budget, would be a bad way to go though, if Hughes has gone Coates needs the fans to be with him, as we know Pulis wouldn't help things.

It had to happen and I really wanted this after today's result. So why do I feel so gutted?! Because we all know the club has self created this issue and left it too late.

With the market as it is, I would say that our best bet would be to get somebody solid to organise the squad and defence until the end of the season, and then have a root and branch shake up.
I don't think he's gone though.

I hope Pugs is right. I worry Coates will be driving down to Sandbanks tomorrow cap in hand (pun intended - one from the club shop obviously).

Why is anyone believing this sorry?
Not happening, every interview with him suggests otherwise. Total bollocks.

I’ll be amazed if he’s handed in his resignation and is walking away from his contract and the payout he’ll receive if he’s sacked. It would be the noble way to go, but I don’t believe it for one second. He's a cunt he wouldn't have the decency. Know him personally, do you?

What fucking sense does it make to swap a manager who has been serving up shit football, for another manager who also serves up shit football? I don't doubt that Pulis might be in Coates' mind but any sane fan who isn't absolutely fucking mental wouldn't have Pulis back.

There is no other living human being who is as good as Pulis at rescuing English clubs on the brink of relegation. I believe our club deserves the best and it is our good fortune that he is available. And what is more, TP will be desperate to come back and prove the doubters wrong.

Our club is not on the brink of relegation yet. We have a good team low on confidence that is in a rut and needs a lift. If tony pulis comes back it will be the death of us for at least another 2 seasons football wise. Cannot be arsed watching that mind numbing shite, especially if we're trying to do it with the players we have.

Hopefully, it is true. Better late than never, or at least, better late than too late. It can't be Pulis though, That's just swapping a disaster for a worse disaster. Coates needs to drag himself into the reality of the 21st century English Premier League and realize if he wants to play he has to pay. No more fussing about a million or two here and there, no more "I'm not looking at foreign managers" bull-shit. If he wants to play, he needs to get with the program. Otherwise, bye bye Premier League, it's been good to know yuh. (Not really, it's been largely shit.)
