Your not fit to support the club more like it. Well they paid their money in doing just that, and have every right to express their anger. That shower of shit on the pitch will still collect their paychecks.

You've got to be a complete fucking moron if you think this situation even remotely resembles what was happening 20 years ago. For crying out loud! Different divisions, same news. Just because we're "Premiership" Stoke doesn't mean we're in a whole lot of mess, Dave. - No motivation - Awful team selections - Backroom rumours of no funding and other issues. Not sure anything has changed here! There is no history, just the same tale telling itself over and over again. We didn't have a wage bill of £90M in 1998 Spider. I'm not defending the shitstorm we're seeing at the moment, but you have to put things into perspective. What we're seeing now is incompetence at management level, not boardroom level. Burnley, Swansea, West Brom,West Ham, Bournemouth and even Barnsley have given Spurs a game at Wembley this season. There's no excuse for the capitulation we saw today.

There's no shame in losing to Spurs, it's pretty much expected for more than half the teams in the league
However, losing and showing zero passion for the shirt is just asking for this sort of fan reaction, there's no fight in this team, we lost 5-1 and didn't even pick up a yellow card for fuck sake
We want to see the players on the pitch battling, for far too long now Hughes and co's shitness has flown under the radar in the media, they all turn up, get hammered and fuck off again with a whimper while cashing in their extortionate contracts
Fans will react to players looking like they actually give a shit, in turn, players playing like they give a shit tend to not get battered 5-1

What makes you say it's aimed at him ? These people live in a bubble and deserve a bit of reality now and then. He certainly doesn't deserve it but I understand how people who pay a lot of money and see a lack of effort from millionaires must feel . Time they got off their pedestal.

Wasn't aimed at Ryan specifically but Ryan came to the front as he's the captain. Good on him for that at least. Ryan will always be w legend but today he has to take the stick because that was unacceptable by any standards.
Today's performance merited the hard time the pampered players are getting from fans who paid good money to watch millionaires not even try.
Our once well run and managed club is rotting away at the moment, and nobody seems to care.

So this being aimed at Shawcross is a load of bollocks then. The squad deserve a good wake up call, their hands aren't entirely clean. It's clearly not going to come from the management or the sleepwalking hierarchy.

Don't blame the fans, blame the management.
The chants were fully justified. Hopefully Sir Peter's paying attention.
EDIT: Oh, and Ryan Shawcross is a Stoke City legend. Not even up for discussion.

Most fans feel that thet do not get a voice. Even at the ground the players are now behind the metal fence, they are very protected. Fans pay their hard earned money to follow the team and have every right to vent their feelings, on occasions when the team are out of their bubble then fans will say what they want as it's the only way to be heard. Coates is not listening or if he is he is ignoring as he keeps coming out with the same bullshit as do the players and Hughes.
It's all media talk and no passion

I was on that train and there was anger towards Mark Hughes which was to be expected after the second half performance, but there was also a "You're not fit to wear the shirt" chant which I thought was a bit unfair on the likes of Joe Allen who ran his socks off and Jack Butland who saved us from an even more embarrassing defeat. The truth is that we are light years behind the Spurs of this world and the worrying thing is that we don't show any resilience whatsoever as soon as the 2nd goal went in you just knew we were going to be trounced.

We are behind them yes, but then again we were behind them when weve been and won there before. Burnley are no furthur behind them than we are yet look hiw they fared. The problem lies with the all to familiar performance/surrender.

I know football has changed but when multi millionaire wankers give up at 2:0 they deserve everything they get. Wouldn’t do them any harm seeing as we’re tanking like fuck to know that the fans own the club.
