Just got off the train at Stoke. Fans screaming at Ryan Shawcross "you're not fit to wear the shirt".
Fuck off.

Few players have been more deserving of the shirt than Ryan Shawcross. He's a true legend.

Christ on a bike Stoke, just get rid of him before this whole season turns into a self destructing bomb.
Seriously, get rid of him and do it now.

Ryan came to the front and was roundly abused. Took it like a man. Legend.

As long as the fans give the players shit and they don’t cup their ears in retaliation at any point it’s all good

Its disgusting. Ryan is a Stoke legend who contributed as much, if not more, to our promotion success, consolidation in the prem, and cup (FA Cup 2011 and League Cup season before last)/European run as anyone. What makes it worse is that Ryan has been loyal to us, even when bigger clubs have been apparently sniffing around.

Should be directing the anger to those in charge. The players cant help the way they are set up and failed transfer windows

Just got off the train at Stoke. Fans screaming at Ryan Shawcross "you're not fit to wear the shirt". Fuck off. That's the trouble with such generalisations , he'll be our captain come what may , and no one shouting at the CEO your not fit to wear the suit , exactly as they planned it when they set the manager and team up as the fall guys when banking £12m and disappearing from public view on September 1st , if we'd 6 more points we'd be overwhelmed with grinning articles and well run beat the market shit . if Kath or Ryan read this ignore the idiots your treasured beyond belief by the majority ,.

Ryan has been wank though, not saying he deserves that, but I think people are starting to pick up on how Hughes is not benefiting him at all.

Should be directing the anger to those in charge. The players cant help the way they are set up and failed transfer windows But they can help not running back to defend! And saying "we gave up after the second goal!"

Not a bad thing in my view. these players get well paid and when interviewed come out with the same dross whilst supporters waste there hard earned pay following them.
Shawcross needs to speak up as captain and tell the world what the problem is...not we'll get it right next week or we are all sticking together. If Hughes can't stick a boot up a few arses why shouldn't the supporters

Should be directing the anger to those in charge. The players cant help the way they are set up and failed transfer windows What they can do though is dig in and show a bit of pride and spirit. Judging by a Some of the remarks on the match day thread, they just down tools and that is just fuckin poor form.

Yeah it's aimed at the whole squad Justified after that absolute shambles today. They might not give a fuck about our club, but we do! It's not just about today though, its the number of spineless hammering we have had to endure over the last 18 months. The atmosphere could well turn toxic over the next few weeks if things continue unchanged.

Chant directed towards the team.
Over 50% stood still as Spurs attacked and scored today.
Today that chant is in my eyes completely acceptable. The players need to hear it, the board and the manager really need to take note.

Ultimately players will move on, fans have every right to voice their disdain
Half the squad would be looking for a move if they get us relegated anyway

Unpleasant as it is a quick blast of this rather basic ‘critique’ is probably quite useful for all those employed by the club. Somebody or something has got to shake them out of the torpor that seems to exist. The reaction we get in the next 2 games will tell us all we need to know regarding the future of both players and management.
